I had a dream

I had a dream, that you were mine
Life was devine,

The world was a song,  when we got along,
Now I watch you go,
Off to Lord knows where,
The sun was shinning, playing off of her hair,
I wish I knew something, that might make you stay,
May be beg one more time, have one more day,
But now that you're gone,
I've got nothing to loose,
Baby I got mine, but I'd rather have you.
I had a dream,
that you were mine,
But I now I don't think,
About you all of the time

I didn't loose hope, just found something real,

Not dreamy like you,
One I can hold, one I can feel.
Now that I'm done, crying alone,
My heart can heal.
I'm waking from my day dream,
Saying good bye,
No honey I won't cry

The sun is bright, breaking through these clouds,
I can move on now.

I once had a dream,  that you were mine, but now real life is devine
