Your Love

I sunk my feet in sinking sand,
Night so dark I couldn't see your hand

I raised my fist and asked you why,
Where are you?

Silence can be deafening
I can't hear your voice,
I tried to sing, sing to you

I held my breath and waited,
But heaven's voice was gated,
Until you spoke

I don't need to understand, when
everything is in His hands,
I put my trust in you.

When waves keep getting higher,
and I can't feel at ease,
I hear your whisper on the wind,
"I am hear."

I don't need to ask where You are.
I already know, You are with me.
An ever present help in time of need
