Lately

Lately I've been,  I've been loosing sleep,
Counting all the wrinkles in my sheets
My thoughts are hazey,
Some call me lazy,
I find my home in bed.
I don't want to talk about it,
I don't need your judgment,
Your quick fix and scripture verse,
I'm tired,
my eyes are heavy, full of unshed tears,
I don't like to cry,
Don't pretend that you know,
Don't even try.

Sometimes I feel happy,
and the sun comes out,
other times a smile is too hard,
don't need something to cry about
I've got twenty million reasons,
why I should stay in bed,
listen to my music,
quite the voices in my head.

Walls are paper thin, disguised by smiles,
Phrases like, "I'm fine."
Sometimes I'm not,
please know, sometimes, I'm not.

I really want to sleep,
may be  then a good mood I can keep
