Sunk

I've been feeding you potatoe chips,
When you were promised meat,
I took my pen  and off I went,
Handing you and him a seat,
I never ment to put you there,
And some how I just did,
I warped a chain around my neck and yours.

The icing on the cake stood pilled high,
Ready for anyone to take.
I took a bite, one or two,
I ate the thing!
What did I do?

I sit back in my chair,
There's sugar on your lips,
Watch out for the grandiose pie,
Be careful! It's on my hips.
I fostered it, and held it against my breast,
My mind was wrapped up in a chain,
Help I'm loosing all my breath!

When did it become the first thing that I did?
I never meant to give my heart,
But looks like I already did,

I'm waking now,
My eyes are opened from this deadly comma,
It took nothing more than a whisper from you, to me your word was Rhema.

You counseled me to buy from you,
Gold refind in the fire,
But I would have none of it,
The consequences dire.

I held onto my plastic toy,
And ceramic tile excuses,
What was ment for me today,
Was of far better uses.

Thank you for the freedom that i can now embrace,
I owe it all to you, and your endless Grace .
