"Vee."
He looked between me and her, unable to decide.
"Go." I nodded to him, tears blurring my vision. "You love her, go to her."
But I love you too.
Twelve hours before
"Vee, I'm so sorry." I hugged him tightly as he sat on the chair. India had lost the Champions Trophy final against Pakistan, which was a shock to everyone.
Hell, even I had expected India to win.
"It's okay." He said, after a long moment of silence. "We didn't play our best and Pakistan did."
"That's okay." I muttered against his chest as he twirled a few of my hairs around his fingers.
"Yep."
On the flight
"Well." I said, making Virat look at me. "It was fun."
"It was." He hummed. "Thanks for you know, being drunk that day."
"Excuse me?" I retorted, a smile on my face. "I should thank you for helping me get home, honestly. God knows who was I speaking too."
"Eh, I'm your savior." He grinned as I swatted his arm.
"Yes, you kind of are." I said, after I had calmed down, looking at him. He gave a surprised look and put his hand on my forehead.
"Are you okay? I swear I heard you say that I'm your savior."
"Shut up, it was a once in a lifetime comment you're never hearing again."
"Aw."
After we had landed in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a SUV took us to Virat's place, where I plopped down on the sofa. Arun was going to come here in the evening to discuss what was the next thing to be done, so Virat had suggested that I could come and stay there till Arun came.
"I'm so tired, it's not even funny anymore." I said from the sofa, yawning.
"Aw, you look so cute while yawning." He said, hugging me as I rested my head on his chest and closed my eyes.
"Sure, I'm so hot anyways."
"Sh."
"Hey, there's someone at the door, maybe it's Arun." He nudged me after a few minutes (or maybe hours) and I got up off of him, letting him go to open the door.
"Hey, Virat."
"Anushka?"
Guys, I'm extremely sorry I can't post the trailer of Sarang on YouTube, it's just not loading on there. If you really want to see it, then I could send it to you via email - unfortunately that's the only solution I see.
Again, so sorry😣
