The test felt like our answers to everything. The test felt like an eternity of waiting. It was time though. just had to look at the test. We were both anxious about it. We just needed to know. I thought about how this was going to be it. The test would be positive, then we would be bringing our baby home, and then we would really finally be a family.
I looked at Matt " it's... positive!" Matt kissed me, holding me tight to his chest " Were pregnant!" I looked at him and couldn't help but smile because how happy he was " were going to have a baby..." Matt smiled " I told you we just had to wait..." I looked at him " this is one test though...." Matt looked at me " take another..." I looked at him " I will... tests are most accurate in the morning.."
The morning after the news...
Matt woke me up " Gabby.. wake up!" I looked at him wondering why he was waking me up so early " baby what's wrong with you..?" He looked at me " go take the test..." I looked at him " fine.. but if I'm actually pregnant you better not wake me up again!"
It was another waiting game. A few minutes passed and it was ready. I looked at it " it's positive..." Matt looked at me " this is real..." I looked at him " This is it! ... well I'm going back to bed!"
