I'm 12 weeks pregnant. It's time! The baby is the size of a lime. The baby is just about over 2 inches long and weighs about an ounce. It's crazy that the baby is just growing so much in there. So much is happening.
I'm excited now even more than ever. The pregnancy has been going very well. The doctor ensured us that were right on track and everything is just fine. Everything is great actually. Matt and I decided together that At 12 weeks we were going to first announce to our families and then to our friends.
Matt looked at me " so what's for dinner..?" I looked at him " I don't know..." Matt looked at me " isn't everyone coming over..." I looked at him " right...?" He laughed " you forgot...?" I laughed " sorry.." He looked at me " that's ok... you've got enough on your mind. We have pasta easy.. simple."
Everyone came over. My parents, Antonio, his kids,Matt's sister and her daughter. It was a real family occasion. We ate our dinner. Everything was good. We don't get to see everyone all together all to much so this was nice. My parents were fine, getting alone ok. Today was turning out better than I even imagined.
I smiled " well as much as we love having everyone here... Matt and I do have some news!" Matt held my hand. I smiled " it's a little surprise... were having a baby... I'm pregnant..."
