15 weeks
I'm 15 weeks pregnant. So I'm 3 and half months about pregnant.
The baby is about 4 inches long and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. The baby's about the size of an apple. Baby's busy moving amniotic fluid through baby's nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in baby's lungs begin to develop. Baby's legs are growing longer than arms now, and baby can move all of her joints and limbs. Although baby's eyelids are still fused shut, baby can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, baby's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but baby is forming taste buds.
Part of me is worried about the baby. I'm worried that maybe everything won't be so ok. I'm happy and I feel great, but theres always that thought that goes across my mind that thinks maybe something will change. I got in bed " I'm so fat..." Matt looked at me " no your not..." I laughed and looked at him " have you seen me...?" He looked me " only every day of our life... your pregnant and beautiful." I looked at him " well I'm 15 weeks it's so fast...." He looked at me " well our baby is healthy so I wouldn't have it any other way." I smiled and looked at him " well you know what next week is...?" Matt looked at me " what?" I looked at him " we could find out if were having a boy or girl?" Matt smiled " I can't wait..." He rested his hand on my belly. I had my hand under his " wait... did you feel that..." Matt looked at me surprised " what is it...?" I smiled " the baby's kicking... He laughed " omg he is ..." I laughed " or she is...."
