11. Rough Around The Edges .

Grey's POV

"Mmm," I turned her over, "Stay like that."

Her soft sighs sent welcomed chills up my spine, my wolf nearly purring in delight at the feel of her.

"Grey.." She panted, her hands sliding along my forearms, along the skin of my upper arm, and squeezing my triceps.

"Shh," I kissed her parted lips, and began to move away before she gripped the back of my hair to keep me closer to her. I chuckled. "I'm not going anywhere, baby."

I let one of my hands trail over her abs, smoothing over her breasts, and held one to my lips.

"Yes, please.." Her back arched, allowing me better access. "Grey.."

"Mm," I tasted every inch of her sweet, tan flesh, "I love the delicate skin," I nipped under one of her breasts, "Right here."

I slid out of her, lowering myself down her body, kissing my way down. Her moans made my wolf growl in anticipation.

"You want me like this?" Her soft voice would've sounded water-talk to the average ear, nothing but mumbles and gasping breaths.

I pressed her legs down, opening her most delicious delicates to myself. She moaned at the pressure against her legs, but obliged to my silent demands, spreading them further.

My goddess, how right I was. So Long as I have you, I could never lose.

I buried my face within her warm, moist pink flesh. She squirmed and I took the opportunity to slide my hands under the soft skin of her ass, pulling her closer to me.

Her legs trembled at each sides of my head. "Don't.. don't stop.."

'Sweet, Nova,' I sucked at the taste of her as she convulsed around me, 'I wasn't planning on it.'

"Alpha." Kale bowed his head to me. "I've gathered the others as requested."

"Good man, I'll be there shortly."

"The Luna?"

"Is retrieving her new Beta and Gamma, she'll be joining us soon as well."

"Oh, right." Just as quickly as he turned to leave, he swung back around. "Wait, what?!"

"We've.. talked many things out." A few times.. over and over.. all night long. "She has her right to appoint herself a second and third. I did."

"And you chose well, which I thought would be more than enough for the pair of you, as it usually is in packs."

"It is, but she's found a fondness in the pair. A bond that you and I cannot and will not come between. She's.. made friends." I smiled.

"Friends? Friends? Flanks aren't appointed by which one makes the best bff."

"No? Why else do you think you stand here? Simply because you're a great fighter, fast tracker, and specialized hunter? Uh uh."

He scoffed.

"You're great, but my own mate is an even better fighter. You're fast, but my third is an even faster tracker than you. You're specialized in hunting, but I've trained pups with more potential in hunting grounds than you. So, yes, I believe flanks can be appointed to who makes the best bff, and if you don't think so, you have the choice to step down, Beta Kale."

"A-alpha.."

I rose a challenging brow at him.
