"Just what the hell do you think you're doing?!" Grey nearly swung me around after closing our bedroom door. His anger nearly getting the best of him.

Though he was able to throw himself away from me, his eyes reflected over and canines elongated damned their completely out.

"I know what I'm doing, okay? Just.. back off and let me handle this."

"That's what the hell I was doing in there!" He shouted at me. "Now I'm going to be six fighters short!"

"You don't have to be."

"What? You think I'm going to let them take a swing at you?" He scoffed loudly in a very unattractive manner. "I might as well knock your crazy ass out right now, if that's what you think!"

"If that's a challenge, then you'll have to line up like the rest of them."

He stepped in my face then. "I swear to Goddess I'll take you far from here. Not Kale, not Audri and Lynn, hell, not Baptiste, not even the damned devil will be able to find you." His eyes were wild, raging with emotion.

I bared my own teeth at him, after feeling them nip at my bottom lip.

He growled. "You're an infuriating woman."

"Go tell mommy about it."

His face twitched.

"Struck a nerve, wolf boy?" I smirked. "Good, now get out of my way."

He grabbed my wrist and I quickly snatched it from him, then swung my other fist at him until I felt flesh under it. His.

He turned to me, wiping blood from the corner of his mouth.

My eyes glared over and I knew they reflected, I cracked my neck from side to side.

First up. Round one.

"I'll kick your ass, Nova. You and I both know it."

"Maybe.. maybe you're just chicken shit scared like the rest of them that lined up to fight me." I rounded my hands into fists.

He shrugged. "Mm, if it's what you wan-"

I ran full speed at him.

'First rule, wolf boy. Don't think, just act.'

"My mommy did teach me not to hit a girl."

"You're just a sore loser." I managed to get out with a pretty sore jaw, panting, and bruised body.

"You basically knocked yourself around, look at you, this is enough." He dropped his stance.

"I say when it's enough!"

"Nova," He started to approach me. "What are you trying to prove?"

I gasped, then swung at him, but he managed to dodge it and tackle me to the ground. Lacing my arms under his legs, he made himself rather comfortable sitting on top of me.

"Get off of me!" I snapped my canines at him, tears blinding my sight. I barely missed him by a fraction of an inch.

"Shh, pet. Stop it." He struggled to get me to stay still. "I'm not trying to hurt you.. even though you clearly want to take my head off for some reason."

I stopped thrashing, but remained tense.

"Get. Off."

"I'd love to, but you're wired right now and," He looked down where our hips met, "I don't think my wolf boys get off on you taking a kick at them."
