Tiley POV

I was currently at Janiece's house, my best friend, helping her pack her stuff to move out. It had some bad memories she wanted to erase from her life. I was packing her clothes and shoes in the boxes while she was busy on the phone, trying to get ahold of her boyfriend.

"Terrel, where the hell are you?! I called you an hour ago to come fetch your stuff!" She yelled through her phone.

The relationship was the reason she wanted to move out. Terrel cheated on her in her house and still ain't seen nothing wrong with it. I just kept quiet and continued packing as she sighed.

"Look Ti, I'm really sorry for asking you to do this, it's just that I wanna get the fuck outta here as soon as possible." She said.

"Girl, you know I got you. Anything you need." I said before giving her a hug.

She then left to go pack downstairs as I continued here.

I was now packing the last batch of her clothes into the boxes, it was probably around 7:00 pm. I stood up and took one of the boxes downstairs, hearing two voices arguing. I slowly walked down to see Terrel and Janiece, she looked like she had been crying.

"Hey, I'm done with the stuff upstairs..." I trailed off, giving Terrel a death glare.

"Oh, uhm, thank you." She said.

"Can you give us some space please?" Terrel rudely said.

Swear that statement done put me in my element, I was ready to knock a nigga out.

"Yo, you been treating my best friend like trash and now you gon' tell me to-"

"Tiley, its fine. J-Just leave us for a while please...?" She said as she crossed her arms.

"Sure..." I said as I walked out the kitchen.

I went out the balcony in her living room, spotting a tall guy on the phone.

"Yeah, aight. Imma be there tomorrow." He said as he hung up.

I think he didn't notice that I was here so I decided to start the conversation.

"Hi." I said as he looked back at me.

Lord have mercy on me. He was fine as hell.

"Hey. I'm Keith." He said with a smile as he stretched out his hand for me to shake.

"I'm Tiley." I replied as I took his hand. He just stared.

"That's a beautiful name, you're beautiful, I mean- that's a very... beautiful name." He said awkwardly.

I noticed that he still had a grip on my hand. I just smiled.

"Thank you." I said with a blush.

He moved his hand from mine, with embarrassment. We both smiled as he apologized.

"So, what brings you here?" He asked.

"Uhm, I was helping Janiece pack her stuff. She's moving out tomorrow. You?" I asked as he sighed.

"My nigga Terrel asked me to help with the stuff. I still don't get why that girl still with his dumb ass." He said while shaking his head.

"Well maybe you should knock some sense into your homeboy..." I said as he chuckled.

"You think I ain't try?"

"Do you think we should go in? It's just awkward."

"Nah, I think we should let them hash it out for a bit. Sit down, lemme get to know you." He said as we sat down.

This guy was so beautiful. The freckles, the pearly whites and to top it off, he was well dressed too. His cologne was also on another level.

"Well, I'm Tiley Burgos, I'm 22 years young, I'm in real estate and Janiece is my best friend. How about you?" I said as he smiled.

"Well, I'm Keith Tyree Powers. But don't call me that, only my dad calls me that, I'm 24 years old, yes I'm old, I'm an actor and unfortunately, that bum is what I have as a friend." He said as I laughed.

"Nice to meet you, Tyree." I said as he gave me a look. I was only mocking him lol.

"I would-"

"Aye Keith, let's go man, I'm done!" Terrel yelled as we stood up.

"I'm sorry, this nigga was my ride. Look, I would really like to get to know you better so can I have your number?" He asked as he pulled his phone out.

"Sure," I said with a smile before typing it in. "Here you go." I said.

"Can I get a hug?" He asked.

"Sure..." I said as he hugged me.

A hug has never felt so good. The way his toned arms wrapped around my waist.

"See you soon." He said before walking off.

I think I'm in love. ♥️
