"What?!" I replied in utter annoyance.
Yes, it was Christian again. We were right back where we started and I didn't even know how to feel because it was like he used me just to get what he wanted.
"Look, I know it's short notice and I wanted to tell you earlier but you blocked me," he chuckled a little bit.
All I did was roll my eyes.
"It's my pops' party later tonight and I'd love for you to come."
"No Christian. I'm tired of you wanting me only when you wanna flaunt. And I'm busy anyway." I sassed.
"Nah you're not. I know you're sitting on your couch, probably with some ice cream watching Martin reruns. Tell me I'm wrong..."
I went silent, mostly because he was so right and I hated it. I also hated how we basically had a relationship but without the title, meaning he was still busy with other females.
"I'm not taking no for an answer." He said.
"No."
With that said I hung up. I was definitely gonna go but to make him see what he's missing. Ever heard of confusing the enemy? Even if I didn't get in on his invite, I knew Quincy too.
