A Bryson Tiller imagine.

BRYSON.

"Man, stop lying. I know you was out last night. Saw you on TMZ too." I said as I sat alongside Iris.

IRIS.

See, Iris was a good friend of mine. We met at these industry parties and we been cool since then. I won't even lie, she was an attractive woman but I'm only down for my Queen. And besides, all we did was roast each other, so she was practically my bro.

"Hell yeah, I was out," she replied with her eyes glued to her phone as I snacked on my gummy bears. Tried offering her something other than the passion fruit and lemonade she had been casually sipping on but she refused. "But you're not about that life because you're a gone boy now." She commented as I tried my hardest not to blush, my head falling back.

"Man, that's my baby." I replied with a smile.

She finally looked up, pulling a face. "Man, sometimes I wonder how such a pretty girl like Y/N deals with a grinch like you," she chuckled under her breath as I rolled my eyes, shaking my head.

"We definitely go through our own shit though..." I randomly blurted while starring into space.

"Trouble in paradise?" She questioned, and I don't think she meant it in a nosy way; it was rather genuine, but I still felt uneasy about telling her.

"You could say that, but I don't really like discussing my relationship-"

"Oh, that's okay. I totally get it. Hope y'all good though." She said, scrolling through her phone.

I thought about it for a second and I actually realized how frustrated I was with our current situation. "Well, I mean, I trust you, and that you'd keep this between us so-"

"You seriously don't have to tell me B." She stated.

"I know dude, but I just kinda need to vent. Things between shawty and I have been a little rocky as of late. She's hella stressed and she has kinda lost weight, which makes her super insecure. She's always looking for assurance and I can never say the right thing."

"I'm sure she's just-"

"She's just what?" We were both cut off by an agitated Y/N.

Y/N was a criminal justice attorney, so you could imagine the argument that was about to take place. She placed her bag down and crossed her arms, waiting on us.
