Y/N sat on the bed, contemplating whether to take his phone to try cracking his password or do the the "right thing": trust that he was committed to fixing and making the relationship work, but she wasn't too big on trust right now. She only forgave August (or barely) because she loved him.
Besides arguing with herself about taking the phone, her mind wandered back to August's big cheating scandal, making her mad all over again.
Flashback...
4 months ago...
August and his friends Mikai and Travis had been hopping from club to club, celebrating Mikai's birthday and just things going well for all of them. Well, more of August using clubbing and girls to deal with his heartbreak. Y/N had asked to take a break because she felt like she was neglecting other priorities in her life.
Right now, they were in their hotel lobby, getting a few drinks and freshening up (in their rooms) before they headed back out to celebrate again.
"Man, what's up witchu? You been off this whole night." Mikai asked August as he sipped on his drink.
Travis was probably flirting with a few females somewhere and August was downing shots nonstop. I guess you could say Mikai was the level headed one.
"Y/N said she wanna talk, and that ain't always good." August slurred.
"Well there ain't no use in you moping around. Talk to her."
"Imma deal with ha tomorrow. I'm just tryna get wasted right na..." He expressed.
A text popped up on August's phone, making him smile. He quickly downed the rest of his drink and stood up, walking to the elevators.
"Aye, where you going now?!" Mikai yelled at a stumbling August.
"Imma be right back, fetching something from my room real quick!" He yelled back, still smiling at his phone.
"Don't fuck around, you know you're holding the VIP passes, nigga!"
