A Kelly Oubre Jr imagine.

Y/N.

"Amara, stop playing with that thing and come eat your food!"

"Isaiah, quit running up and down the house, come on now."

As usual, it was a hectic morning in the Oubre household and I was the one doing all the work since Kelly was burnt out sleeping after his basketball practice. I bounced my 8 month old baby Micaiah up and down my hip as she wouldn't stop crying. My boyfriend Kelly and I have been together for 8 years now and we have three beautiful kids together. Our first born daughter Amara, who is 8, our son Isaiah who is 4 and our latest addition Micaiah, who's just going on 8 months.

We've always wanted to get married. Well, I know I do, but life just happened and work got in the way and now we're here. Lately I've been overwhelmed by all my responsibilities here at the house and my kids are my only priority right now, to the point where I've been neglecting myself. They are quite m a handful though, but I guess I'm just trying my best.

"Mommy, mommy, Amara won't share the pancakes!" Isaiah burst out in tears.

"Amara, what did we say about you not sharing with your brother? Big sisters have to share, baby." I said, as calmly as possible.

"Fine!" She whined back.

Micaiah was finally falling asleep and I put her inside her stroller with her pacifier in her mouth. I sighed in relief and fixed my ponytail, tending to the other two rascals.

"Alright, you guys need to finish up. Uncle Mike is coming to take y'all to school."

Mike was our neighbor. His kids went to the same school as ours so it was a pact we had on fetching and taking each other's kids to school when necessary, and today was one of those days it seemed really convenient.

I cleaned around the house and put the dirty dishes into the sink and Kelly came down.

"Daddy!" Both Isaiah and Amara ran up to their father. I let out a small smile as I continued cleaning.

"Hey, babies! Y'all been good for mommy?"

"Yes!" They said in unison.

"Right..." I muttered to myself.

The doorbell rang, letting me know it was Mike and the two got their bags and ran off.

"Hi family, we'll see y'all later!" Mike quickly popped in and dapped Kelly before rushing out with the kids.

"Thanks Mike!" I said.

"Bye Mommy, bye Daddy!" Amara said.

I sighed again as the silence I long yearned for commenced. I went back to the kitchen to finish the dishes.

"Baby, can I get a bandaid please?" Kelly said as he stared at his finger.

"Upstairs in the medicine cabin." I said, paying him no mind.

"Can you get it for me please?"

"Kelly, I'm doing the dishes, you know where it is." I looked back, trying to reason.
