FINALE! 🔥
~The choir hummed a hymn as the undertakers surrounded the casket to lower it. Rose gold box with white roses. Y/N loved roses.
The men in her life, including William, stood neatly in their black tuxes for her final goodbye. Louis was sobbing uncontrollably, sitting with Y/N's mom and younger sister, as they cried too.
Odell's mother stood behind Terrel, gently stroking his neck. He was about to break down any second. The moment anticipated by Ms H came sooner than expected... as soon as the casket went low, Terrel cried hard. So hard to the point where Odell broke down too.
"Maaaaaa!!" He screamed as some men in the family tried holding him back.
William, on the other hand, was motionless. To think he had been a few minutes away before Y/N met her tragic death. Or the fact that he was the one who first saw her lifeless body laying stone cold in her home. He was beyond traumatized but more than anything, he wanted justice.
"It's okay baby, let it out," Odell's mom comforted him. "Let it all out."
He was down on his knees sobbing uncontrollably. Ms H wiped a few tears of her own before helping him up. Odell went up first to throw in a rose, to pay his last respects.
"You've broken my heart mama," he started. He paused for a second as he held his hand to his face to cry. "I did- I didn't think you'd leave this soon."
"Odell, baby," His mother interrupted, holding his hand for them to move. "Give Y/N her flower and let's go."
"I'll never forgive myself for this. I'm sorry and I love you... with every fiber of my being. I know you'll watch over all of us. Rest, baby. ❤️" He threw the rose in before hugging his mother.
Louis came up with Y/N's mother and sister, his small hand slightly shaking.
"I love you Mommy." He threw it in and buried his face in his grandmother's chest.
Terrel asked to go once everyone had gone, because he had the most to say. The rest of the guests headed back, leaving the immediate family and William. They all had to be there for Terrel.
He slowly walked up to the now six feet deep casket and let out a heavy breath before starting. "Had I known the day we fought would be the last day I see you, the last 10 minutes I spoke to you, or caught a glimpse of your contagious smile, I would've hugged you. I would've smothered you with hugs and kisses and-" he sniffled. "And I wouldn't have been so harsh to you. I don't know how I'm going to live without you Mommy. You were my literal best friend, and some people called me a mama's boy," he smiled to himself. "But I'd give anything up to be called that again. Your baby..." he cried again as his dad stood by his side. "Everything I do, will be for you. Rest in Paradise, Ma. ❤️"
The undertakers started covering the casket with sand and everyone slowly walked off to the cars.
"Let's go, Uncle Will." Terrel said as William stood stagnant.
"I think I'm gonna stay here for a while Terrel. See you guys at the house." He said.
They shared a hug of compassion before Terrel walked off.
