A Keith Powers imagine.

You.

I had just come out of a meeting when I got a text from Keith. It read:

Hey, I need you urgently. Please come over as soon as you can.

See, I've been working as Keith's financial advisor/accountant for about 2 years now. I help him with business decisions and advise him on items and assets he would like to purchase.

Most people would ask me why I haven't made a move on him cause he's mighty fine. Which he is, by I prefer to keep business apart from pleasure.

In about 45 minutes I was parked on his driveway, alongside his Jeep. I rang the doorbell to his giant house and one of his million helpers opened.

"Hi, is Mr. Powers here?" I asked.

I always referred to him as Mr Powers when I was talking to them because they'd always correct me.

"Yes, in his office." She kindly replied as I walked in and headed down the hallway to his office.

Without knocking, I let myself in and sat my trench coat on the chair.

"Hey beautiful." He flirted as he loosened the tie on his button up shirt.

"You called me here because?" I patiently said as I sat in his chair with my legs crossed.

"I need a little advice on this," He quickly stood up and showed me a picture of a diamond necklace.

"Is it a good investment?" He continued.

I gasped at the beautiful sight. That had to be more than $100,000.

"It is, but it depends on who you're buying it for. In my opinion, someone's gotta be really worth it, like your mom or your girlfriend. That's on a personal level, but business wise, I'd say you invest the money in one of your projects, find a way to increase your market share or... something." I went on as he sat on his wooden desk, leaving my legs in between his.

Oh, I forgot to mention, Keith has a girlfriend. Beautiful Puerto Rican model at that, so why he was doing this? I don't know and I wasn't comfortable with it at all.

"Trust, this female is very special. But if you're advising me not to buy it then I guess I'll find something else." He said.

"Who is it? Your moms, Kamina? I know she'd love it. It'd look good on her."

"Kamina and I are over. And moms is getting a new car, not diamonds. So you don't like it?" He asked.

He was really interested in what I had to say about this necklace. It was beautiful and all, but couldn't he have asked his silly questions over the phone?

"Keith, I'm tired okay? I just wanna go home and run myself a bath. And I'm sorry about you and Kamina." I said as I stood up.

He clenched his legs so that I wouldn't be able to move. Our bodies were just inches away from each other. Even though he had just mentioned his break up with the Puerto Rican, we only had a professional relationship, which was great, and nothing more.

"So what would you do if someone were to buy you these diamonds?"

"Honestly, I could never keep that because it's such a big deal. Unless maybe I were married to the guy or something. Can I go now?" I whined.

He held my waist and placed a kiss on my lips. I didn't even kiss back cause I was so shocked.

"See, this is why I appreciate you so much. You're not like them other fast ass girls who are quick to jump on my money. You're smart, you got your own and you're independent. I know this is a bit unexpected but I've been feeling you for a while now Y/N. I'm attracted to you. No, actually, I'm attracted to your sexy ass mind; just your ability to hold a conversation of intellect is so attractive to me. I really wanna get to know you better, so what do you say?"

I smiled a little.

"You could've said that way before you got into the diamonds issue. Look Keith, I think you're attractive and smart too, but I'm your financial advisor, I'd prefer if we kept this professional." I said as he chuckled.

He stood up from the desk and took my hand, leading me to the balcony. There was a beautiful setup for dinner. Champagne, roses, candlelight, gourmet dinner. I can't believe he did all this for me. He sat me down as I stared at the beautiful sunset.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked as he sipped on his Cirôc.

"Don't you think we're moving a little too fast? I mean, I didn't say I would be your girlfriend." I said as he chuckled.

"Well what more do I gotta do to make you mine? You clearly ain't into spending my money."

"That's because I got my own."

"How about I be the one you can come home to, someone who'd be there on your sad days, bad days, good days. Someone to just genuinely show interest in you. I think that's what you are to me, it took me some time to realize it and that's what I think I could be to you. One chance is all I'm asking for." He said and I couldn't help but smile.

"Alright Keith, I guess we could give it a try, but one step at a time." I said and he nodded, followed by a smile.

We continued having our dinner and I ended up spending the night. May I just say he was very skilled in his romantic endeavors...
