"What are you doing here?" Y/N grew defensive.

"Louis called me after finding out I was back. And aren't y'all cozy..."

"William is a business associate." Y/N stated.

"Not that it's any of your business though." William butt in, putting his hands in his pockets.

Him and Odell stared at each other for a few seconds.

"I'll go tell him you're here." Y/N said as she was about to walk to the stairs.

"Nah, it's cool. I'll let y'all get back to work." He said before going to Louis.

Y/N rolled her eyes, strangling the air out of anger.

"I can't stand him!" She growled.

"Don't let him get to you. You know what, we got a lot done so I'll send you an email in the morning with the brief." William said as he took the file into his hand.

"No," Y/N looked up at him. "Don't leave."

William scrunched his eyebrows up. "Maybe you guys need to sort things out as a family, I don't want to intrude."

Y/N smiled a little at how nice he was but she still didn't want him to leave even after what he had just said. She walked back into the kitchen to get herself a glass of water.

Her phone rang and William came in a hurry to hand it to her. She took it and checked the screen. Private number.

"These damn private numbers," she smacked her teeth before sliding the ringer icon. "Hello?"

"Yes, this is she." She said as she nodded repeatedly, taking the information in.

She slowly closed her eyes and dropped the phone to the ground, immediately losing her consciousness. William looked confusingly at her and quickly caught her, as she was about to faint.

"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" He asked nervously as he took the phone from the ground.

"Hello? Hello, what happened?"

The person on the other side of the phone went silent. He quickly sat Y/N down on her chair as she tried calming down from crying.

"Te-" she choked on her words. "Terrel's been shot!" She stood up and hurried upstairs.

"Odell, Terrel's been shot! They shot my baby!" She yelled.

Louis screamed in fear, immediately balling his eyes out, making Odell pull him into a tight hug.

"What?! Now?!" He panicked, all while trying to keep his youngest calm.

"Now!"

"Okay, head there right now. I'm right behind you with Louis."

Y/N nodded and ran back downstairs, looking for her keys.

"You can't drive in this state, I'll take you." William said and she nodded, running towards the door.
