1 day before Canada departure...

Odell was busy packing some boxes to make the process a bit easier for him and the moving trucks. For some reason, he couldn't stop thinking about what Y/N had told him and the information she brought along. Firstly, he felt dumb. Regret took over his whole being and secondly, confusion. Was Nicole really that type of person? Was she capable of all of that?

"Nicole, you need me to pack these glasses in the boxes?" He snapped out of his trance as he yelled from the kitchen.

She didn't answer, which he wasn't surprised because she was upstairs in the bedroom and he was downstairs in the kitchen. He tugged on his beard as he got to the last stairs, heading down the hallway to the bedroom.

"I've already set up an offshore account, and I have access to one of his black cards, so by the time we get to Canada, I should be able to move some money."

Odell stood a few steps away from the door, listening closely.

"Ma, stop pressuring me okay? I'm actually scared this time..." she sighed.

He shook his head, struggling to comprehend the type of person she really was.

"You know what, I don't think I can do this. He is such a nice guy-"

Odell pretended to walk in, as if he hadn't been listening, instantly making Nicole uneasy.

"Odell. H- how long have you been standing there?" She stood up, playing with her phone.

"Just walked in," he stared intently at her. "You good? Looks like you've just seen a ghost."

She knew for a fact that he heard something but didn't want to give herself away. Well, it was an unsuccessful attempt judging by the look on his face.

"I'm... okay. I was just talking to my mom. She's excited that we're coming."

"The glasses... do you need me to pack them in the boxes?" He asked.

Nicole couldn't shake the fear off. All Odell did was look at her, as if he could see right through her schemes.

"Yeah... yeah. That'd be great."

"Cool."

He walked off and grabbed his phone out his pocket, dialing Y/N's number. It just rang.

"Shit," he cursed lowly as he tried calling again.

Went straight to voicemail.

"Look, Y/N. Can we talk? Call me as soon as you get this." He hung up, being greeted by Nicole's presence.

"I hope you were asking her whether she signed those papers."

"Just wanted to talk to Louis, that's all."

She paused for a second as she crossed her arms. "You still love her, don't you?"

Odell stayed silent.

"You don't even have to answer."
