I lit the the candles on he dinner table and smiled at the work I'd done. It was my boyfriend Keith and I's two year anniversary today, so I wanted to do a lil sum special for my man.
I tightened my black silk robe and fixed my bouncy curls as I heard the door unlock.
He walked into the open floor plan space and smiled unbelievably.
"Wow..." he blushed a little as he put his face in his palm.
"Happy anniversary." I said as I helped him out of his jacket.
"Happy anniversary baby." He replied.
I went on my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck, as he did the same around my waist, leaning in for a kiss.
"You like?"
"It looks amazing love."
"Well then sit down and let's eat."
~ "That was great baby girl. I done ate so much I think imma wake up looking like fat Albert tomorrow." His goofy ass said as we cracked up.
We were now our bedroom and I couldn't wait to give him his gift.
"I'll be right back," I said as I headed to the closet.
He held my waist, reeling me back to him.
"Come here," he placed kisses on my face, going down to my neck.
"Keith, I'm tryna give you your gift-"
"I don't want that right now..." he mumbled in my neck.
