Y/N POV

I heard his colossal footsteps entering our front door and I knew my boyfriend had been back from his daily basketball practice with his boys.  I always wondered why he wouldn't just call his friends over to the house and practice here by the court. Nigga said something about his friends hitting on me and I shrugged it off.

Finishing the last bits of dinner, I was greeted by his muscular arms, as well as the musky scent.

"Hey gorgeous." He said before gently placing a kiss on the crook of my neck.

"Eew!" I playfully said as I turned to face him.

"What you mean 'eew'? You don't be saying that when we-" 

I quickly covered his mouth before he could say anything dirty. Nasty ass.

He chuckled along before reaching for a tomato in the salad bowl.

"Aye, you can't be grabbing the food all sweaty. Go take a shower. Dinner's almost ready."

"Aight." He replied and before I knew it, a stinging sensation was left on my derrière.

So here's the thing, I recently found out that I'm 3 weeks pregnant with our first child, and I kinda wanted Dave to find out in an interesting way. I'm really excited about this new venture because I'm about to be a freaking MOMMY!! And I hope he'll feel the same way.

He came down after 20 minutes wearing another pair of b ball shorts and socks, shirtless.

Yikes. 😻

I swear I could never get tired of seeing all that and to know that it was all mine was the best part.

So we had our dinner, talked, laughed, goofed around, as per usual and now we were in our room, ready to watch a movie.

"Baby?!" He yelled, since I was in the bathroom washing my face after the shower.

"Yeah?"

"What movie you wanna watch? I was thinking Black Panther." He said and I chuckled at the fact that we would be watching it for the millionth time ever since it came out.

"Alright Dave." I said as I came out of the bathroom, heading to the closet to fetch some pjs.

I wrapped my head with a satin head wrap before climbing over to sit with him.

"Mm, you smell good. I could literally eat your whole face right now." He said as he wrapped his arm around me.

"Boy shut up, you know I ain't tryna have you mess up my glowing skin." I said as he let out a deep chuckle.

We weren't even an hour into the movie and homeboy was already knocked out. He still looked attractive tho. I gently removed his arm from my frame, getting up to go use the bathroom and he was already at it with the pillow talk.

"Baby..." he whined.

"Relax David, I'm only going to the bathroom." I said as I attempted to get off the bed but he gripped my arm.

"Gimme a kiss first..."

I sighed, thinking of what a big baby he was, and placed a peck on his lips. Mind you, all of this was taking place with his eyes closed.

"Where the rest of that kiss at, come on girl.."

I chuckled and smacked his hand off my arm and went over to the bathroom.

03:45 am

Dave POV

Turning over to cuddle my beautiful baby, I realized I was hugging the air. I swear this girl keep running from me. The bathroom light was turned on and a few groans and coughs came from there.

I got up and knocked.

"Baby, you good?" I put my ear over to the door so I could hear clearer.

"Yeah, I'm fine babe, g-go back to bed." She replied, which made me even more concerned.

"Open the door please."

With that said, she opened and quickly wiped her mouth with a towel.

"You good? You need some water?"

"Dave I'm fine. It's nothing."

I looked around and saw that the towels had suddenly changed to pink and blue. Pink toothbrush, blue toothbrush...

I never really took notice of the decor in the house but anyone would notice these sudden changes.

Then it hit me. 💡

"Y/N... what's going on?!" I said, with a smile on my face. 

She also had a smile on her face, and paused for a while.

"... We're having a baby!" She said.

My emotions suddenly took over me, my eyes instantly got teary.

"D-don't play with me Y/N. You serious?!"

She nodded and I instantly picked her up and tightly hugged her as my smile got wider. She was at least 60 centimeters off the floor.

She then repeatedly tapped the back of my shoulder.

"Dave... the baby.." she said.

Finally coming back to Earth, I realized I was squeezing the life out of her so I gently put her back down and went on my knees to level with the little one. There go the tears again.

"Baby.. you have no idea how much this means to me. You've given me the greatest gift ever and I wouldn't want to bring another life into the world without you. Thank you." I said as I hysterically cried on her belly, hugging her.

She ran her fingers through my hair as she also teared up.

"Aww, Baby, it honestly makes me so glad that you're so happy. I love you so much!" She said, standing me up.

We shared a kiss and I wiped her tears.

"Look at us, crying like babies. Come, let's go back to bed." I said as I gave her a piggyback ride. More like she demanded one.

Next morning..

"Good morning my absolutely amazing and phenomenal woman. How'd you sleep?" I happily said as I walked into our room with a tray of food and fruits.

"Wow... what did I do to deserve this?" She asked as she sat upright.

I chuckled as I came in between her legs, laying on her stomach.

"Just the fact that you gave me the best news ever and you're carrying a mini 'us' in there.."

"Then I should definitely get pregnant more often." She said as we shared a laugh.

"Of course. I was thinking we have like 5 more after this one..." I said as I kissed her belly.

"What, Dave are you crazy?! Who's gonna carry all them babies?" She said as he eyebrows scrunched.

"If I could, I would, but I can't, so I'll give you all the foot massages you need." We both laughed and she snorted.

"Mrs Piggy much?" I said as she laughed harder.

"But forreal tho babe. If it's a baby boy, I'll play basketball with him all day long, and teach him how to spit rhymes like his daddy. We'll name him Amaré East." I said as she played with my beard.

"I like that."

"And if it's a girl, imma spoil her to death, beat up any nigga that even breathe her way and buy her ice cream every day."

"And what will her name be?"

"Kyrie." I said.

"Kyrie East."
