"Girl please come with me, you know Isaiah and Rakim finna go to that game and I don't wanna be bored." My friend Nicole said.

She was trying to convince me to drive to Miami with them, which I didn't mind, it was just her boyfriend's homeboy Rakim that ticked me off. His snarky ass comments and cockiness just made me wanna fight him every time.

"Is Rakim driving with us?" I questioned in a rather concerned tone.

She pressed her lips against each other, "nope. He coming on his own. Now can you come with me?"

"Girl I haven't even packed anything..."

"Girl you have the whole damn day, we leaving tomorrow morning. We'll fetch you at around 10."

"Alright then Nicole, damn." I said.

She gave me a quick hug before heading out the house.

Next day... 🔅🏝

I put the rest of my bags near the door before switching on the alarm. I got a text from Nicole saying they were outside so I grabbed my phone and sunglasses and rolled my bag out.

Isaiah got out the black SUV and helped me with my bags.

"What's good sis?" He happily said as he gave me a bear hug.

I swear we had the coolest big bro-small sis relationship and I loved how much he loved Nicole.

"Hey bro, thanks. I'm good, how are you?" I replied.

"I'm all good ya know-"

We were interrupted by the dimmed window rolling down.

"Aw hell." I mumbled under my breath.

I punched Isaiah hard in the arm as I pulled a face.

"I can't believe you guys lied to me."

Rakim pulled his earpod out of his ear before speaking up.

"Hey Y/NNNN." He smiled while dragging the last letter of my name.

"Nicole!"

"I'm sorry girl. It was the only way I could get you to come with me."

"By lying to me? Well you can forget it because I ain't spending another second in his presence." Just as I was about to walk back, Isaiah threw me over his shoulder and put me in the car.
