I can't really make this into a book because I'm not as consistent as I would like to be when updating so turning this story into a book would just result in a lack of interest. 🙃

Next day...

Y/N stood still in front of Odell, as if she were the Men in Black or something. She had to call a cab for his drunk ass last night, not to mention all the embarrassment he caused her. She also had to cut her meeting short to sort him out and make sure he actually came home. So here she was again, in is house, ready to confront him.

"If it ain't the Balenciaga Queen. Are you gonna come in?" He spoke slowly, clearly still recovering from last night.

Y/N stood still by his door with her hands stuffed in her trench coat.

"How much more embarrassment do I have to take from you?" She asked.

He sighed and looked away. He was truly remorseful about his actions and confused, more than anything.

"You were right."

"I know, now what is your point?" She sassed, still not moving. There was anger written all over her face.

"She got arrested. I overheard her talking about moving my money into an offshore bank account." He said.

Y/N grew surprised, "Woah... Uhm, I'm sorry."

"If anything, I should apologize to you. And no, this isn't a sappy act for me to get into your good books again. I'm just genuinely sorry for hurting you." He expressed.

Y/N pressed her lips together, nodding repeatedly. She hated how emotional she got when addressing this topic. If anything, Odell was hoping she didn't sign the divorce papers, he desperately wanted to ask about them but didn't know how. Instead, he decided to bring something else up.

"So... last night-"

Y/N let out a dry chuckle, "I knew this was coming. Seeing me with another man for 2 seconds already got you sweating."

"I didn't mean it like that."

"Didn't look that way yesterday." Y/N smirked, crossing her arms, making Odell squint his eyes.

"So this is revenge huh?"

"From your mouth to God's ears." She shrugged plainly. "Anyway, I need to go. Good to know you're alive."

"Y/N why are you being like this?"

"I think you should ask yourself that question."

"I apologized. If we can't be decent towards each other then can we do so for the boys."

Y/N pulled a face. "Do you know that those kids blamed me for you leaving? Do you know what that did to me?"

It went silent. He was really lost for words because in all honesty, there was no explanation for his actions.

"Thought as much." With that said, she opened the door and walked off.
