Camila POV
"What's up?" I heard Sandra ask me as I paused the video to see the scum's face. 'Camila?' I opened my to speak but nothing came out. Instead the words turned into a glare as the lighted room kept playing in my head. All this time I was played. All this time I had thought he was p... PERFECT but he was just a liar. 'Cammie?' Sandra said again. Just as I was about to speak, Sofi came running towards us.
"I didn't win again!" she moaned. I turned my glare into a quick smile.
"Don't worry! That machine's stupid anyways." I said.
"Are we going?" she asked me.
"What?" I questioned.
"You got up, are we going?"
"Oh yeah." I replied, grinning before turning to look at Sofi. 'Do you need the bathroom?' I asked her. She shook her head. I nodded. 'Just in case, you're going.' I took Sofi by the hand and started heading for the toilet. 'Sandi, look at the message I just got.' I added before hiding my emotions with a fake smile and taking Sofi to the door marked 'TOILETS'.
So many thoughts were running through my head. Dinah and Normani were right about everything! They had told me that I had knew almost nothing about him and I was better off without him. All of this would've never happened if I hadn't gone back with him. AND to make me think that he was depressed by posting loads of sad shit on Facebook to make me feel like crap! I was being used and all this time I thought I could make it work. I hated to admit it but Dinah was correct about wasting time on him. I was constantly being warned but yet I was so stubborn that I didn't listen.
I could've been with Lauren right now. I could've been with her. She would've never cheated on me and would've never made me feel like crap just the way he had done. She would've filled my days with love and laughter and would've given me the best memories to look forward to. But here I was, in a fake relationship when we don't even like each other.
Sofi didn't need the toilet like she'd told me but washed her hands before leaving anyways. Sandra looked at me puzzled, clutching onto my phone. She kept looking back at me then at the phone.
"Did you look at it?" I asked, still smiling.
"I'll call you when I get home then." she said, a puzzled look on her face.
"Alright. Sofi, say good bye to Sandra." I said, still grinning like an idiot.
"BYE SANDRA!" Sofi hugged Sandra tightly.
"Bye guys!" was the last thing I heard Sandra say befoe she left the shop.
Lauren POV
I was still grounded the next morning and Dad was totally blanking me too. Mum kept giving me glances and then indicated her head to him but I just shook my head, took my breakfast into the bathroom and ate there silently... well before someone knocked on the door.
To my surprise, it was Dad who was looking at me, regret in his eyes.
"Lauren..." he trailed off, staring at my confused face. I dropped my breakfast onto the floor and pushed it aside to make space for him.
"Yes?" I questioned, still with an eyebrow raised.
"I'm sorry for shouting at you yesterday. Your mum explained everything to me." he said. I nodded. 'I should've trusted you but I was just so worried that something had happened to you because of that smell and I should've known it wasn't a Lauren thing to do.' I nodded again and didn't say anything. 'You're probably angry at me for not allowing you to speak to your friends and stuff. And to that... boy as well.' I shrugged my shoulders. 'Lauren, please speak to me.'
