Lauren POV

Jake's house was actually really big! It was covered in beige paint but the tiles on the roof were a dark grey colour. The grass was perfectly mowed and there was only one rose growing on the grass. Near the rose, there was a small grave stone that read 'MARCO JIOVANNI CORDOVA' and said '6th June 1926-12th September 2013'. I looked at the picture of an old man who was smiling.

"Who's that?" I asked, pointing at the picture. He kept quiet, staring at the picture.

"Oh it's my great grandfather. He died of lung cancer." he said.

"Oh. I'm sorry." I said.

"Don't worry. He's in Heaven anyway." he said, giving me a reassuring grin.

"He doesn't have the same surname as you."

"I know. It's the beauty of having a step-father." he said, walking towards the door and knocking.

"You have a step-father? Where's your real dad?" I asked. I didn't know why I was asking so many questions but he took it lightly anyway.

"He left before my sister was born but I saw him again 9 years later - when I was 12. We got on a bit but now we're close though." he said, knocking again.

"Oh. Sor-"

"Stop apologising! It's fine." he said, stroking my shoulder.

We stood there a while but the door didn't open.

"For fuck's sake! These motherfucking went to Wal*Mart. I guess we have to go through the window." he said, going to the closest window.

"Window? You're going through the window!" he chuckled.

"Fine." he said, climbing up some pipes to check if the window closest to us was open. 'Aha! It's open.' he said, pulling the window open and throwing himself inside his house. Just then, I heard screaming.

"PSYCHE!" I heard some people scream.

"DICKHEADS!" he shouted.

"No swearing in this house!" I heard a girl shout. I didn't hear anything until Jake opened the door.

"Welcome home, I guess." he said, allowing me to come in.

The inside make me gasp. The house looked as if it hasn't been touched at all. The carpet was really smooth even though I had shoes on and the polished walls were gleaming in my direction.

"Hi." someone approached me. It was Jake's sister. She reminded me of Ally; only her height anyway. She had long blonde hair that arrived at her hips and bright green eyes like Jake. She smiled at me as she shook my hand. 'I'm Nichole. It's really nice to meet you.' Her accent was really cute, it was a bit like Ally's but sounded a bit more like she was from Texas.

"Hi." I greeted back. 'I'm Lauren.' she smiled.

"Oh I know who you are. Hi Jakey!" she said waving at Jake who was glaring at her.

"When Jauregui goes, you'll see." he said but she kept smiling before going to the couch and reading a magazine called 'Watchtower'. Then Jake's brother approached me.

"I'm Justin and please pass my wishes to Normani. Big fan." he said, giving me a quick hug before waving cheekily at Jake who was scowling at him.

"Yeah I will. What do you want to say to her?" I asked.

"Oh! I would like to say that I flove her and hopefully she would follow me on Twitter @JustinTime-"

"AND ME!" shouted Nichole, who put down her Watchtower before reading it again.
