Lilo's POV
I grabbed Tayten by the arm and dragged her to the bathroom which was conveniently close to the door. "What did you do?" I asked, peeking out of the bathroom door to look at all the camera men.
Tayten shrugged, "You know I never read the fine print." She said shrugging, while petting her stuffed penguin weirdly.
I frowned down at her, "You forged my signature!" I yelled grabbing the penguin from her hand.
Tayten froze and stared at me. "It was one where you type the name and it turns it into a signature you idiot! NOW GIVE ME BACK GUNTHER YOU MONSTER!!!" She cried, snatching the penguin from my hand. She brushed him off carefully, like he was fine china then murmured, "what are you so worried about anyways? You're naturally photogenic or whatever."
I exhaled slowly, "but I'm also the most awkward person on the planet."
Tayten shrugged, "we'll see. Could be worse."
With a sigh I regained my sanity as we exited the bathroom. Within an instant the camera's were back. Could this get any worse?? "So girls," I woman began as she walked up to us. She was slightly dressed up in shiny black heels and a white and navy blue dress. Pretty. "Have you seen 'Language Barrier' before? It's a very popular show." She continued. I exchanged a look with Tayten, but even she had no idea. We both shook our head. The woman smiled reassuringly as we exited the airport, "that's alright, it's more popular in Asia than America. Basically it's a show where we have two celebrities live with two foreigners for a week. The twist however, is neither party knows the other's language."
I chuckled to myself, "am I allowed to call 'cut' to have the camera men stop for a moment?" I asked. The woman nodded her head, "perfect," I murmured to myself. "Cut!" I yelled, and the camera men calmly put their camera's down.
"Is there something wrong?" The interviewing lady asked.
I shrugged then I replied, in Chinese, "we speak the language..." I told her.
She laughed and replied back to me in the common tongue, "we know that. But the idols don't. So on camera, pretend you don't know Chinese. Off camera, you can do as you please. Okay?"
I looked to Tayten, but even she seemed fine with all of this, so I simply nodded my head. With that, the camera lady turned to the rest of the crew and gave them the word to start filming again. "The van will take you straight to the apartment, okay?" She asked us in English once again.
Tayten looked around, "what van?" She asked as we stood by the crosswalk outside of the airport. As if that was the secret word, a white van pulled up to the curb near us, and the door opened.
"Welcome aboard!" The driver said enthusiastically, as the crew helped us with our bags.
I smiled to Tayten as we got into the large van. "I kinda like the princess treatment," I whispered to her as we sat down.
