Jun's POV

As the familiar faces of my members settled in in the living room I couldn't help but feel empty. Like something or someone was missing. I looked around the room making sure I saw Woozi... you know just in case we forgot him somewhere... it happens okay!

All twelve members were present, thirteen if I counted Tayten who was managing her time by, holding onto Minghao's sleeve with both hands, but only looking and speaking to Joshua. What a player.

Then it dawned on me. I looked down the hall noticing that the door to Lilo and Tayten's room was completely shut. However light poured out through the cracks around the door. Slipping past the rowdy members I made my way to the door, knocking lightly. The door opened slightly then. I looked over my shoulder to make sure no one was looking as I slipped into Lilo's room. I don't know why I'm so secretive.. don't question me. "Hey," I murmured as I walked in and sat adjacent to her on the floor.

"Hey." She murmured.

I sighed nodding my head, "so this is why you didn't go to the airport?"

Lilo nodded her head. "Crowds scare me. Big groups in small places scare me even more."

I fought the urge to smile, "you know I've learned from the time we've lived together that a lot of things scare you. But the thing that I like about you is you only let it show when it's bad enough to be a serious problem. You don't want to burden people... but really if things are hard let us help okay?"

Lilo smiled shyly, "look at you being all grown up and helpful and stuff." She joked nudging me.

I shrugged, "I can read a room you know."

She nodded slowly, "well I do now."

I stood up straightening out my jeans anxiously, "let's take a walk. Get you out of this confining apartment. With all the members here, they have plenty to film here at the apartment. They won't even notice we left." I offered Lilo my hand.

She was hesitant and I was okay with that. But eventually she took my hand and I pulled her up onto her feet. She made to let go of my hand as we headed to the door... but I could feel it shaking, so I held on fast, as I made a beeline out of the apartment. The only person I made eye contact with was Minghao, and I hoped he understood.

I had to do this for her. I want.... I want to protect her.
