Tayten's POV

"Did you hear that?" Lilo murmured between hiccups. "Ow, my head." She whined, as she curled herself into a ball on her bed and clutches her head.

"Hear what?" I replied.

Lilo sat up slowly, her hair a mess. "Someone just left the apartment. Or someone broke in through the front door- but that seems very unlikely."

I sighed, "so now you're gonna be honest? I see how it is." I glared at the older girl as she beamed at absolutely nothing before laying down. "Can you go get some Advil or something?" She continued to whine.

I sighed again before heaving myself up off the floor. "Sure." I muttered.

Leaving Lilo in her currently miserable state I shuffled through the hallway- in my bunny slippers- to the front door. I was holding onto Gunther by his flipper like always, when I reached the door. I frowned when I looked down to see Jun's shoes were missing. "He must've gone out." I whispered to Gunther. I crouched down and propped Gunther up by the door. "Guard Minghao and Lilo for me okay?" I asked him as I set my bunny slippers beside him and slipped into my outdoor shoes. Patting the little penguin on the head I grabbed my wallet, and a spare mask before embarking out on the night.

"The grand adventures of Stitchy!" I narrated myself as I hopped down the stairs, one at a time. "Off to save the day by getting the antidote to cure Lilo!" I continued as I reached the ground level. "And possibly to save a damsel in distress, Jun!" I continued as I marched to the side walk and headed for the convenience store, not too far away. After not too long I got tired, and my marching turned into walking. But I had to get the medicine for Lilo. Sometimes her headaches turn into migraines, which then mutate into illnesses. She's a fragile little butterfly despite how reserved she is.

Once you befriend her though, she comes out of her cocoon. Yup. Just like a butterfly.

As I made my way to the store I passed a group of high school girls whispering amongst each other.

"The guy down the street is so handsome!"
"Isn't he an idol? I feel like I recognized him."
"Probably he was so pretty!"

They gossiped. I only know two pretty guys in this neighborhood, and ones at home. As I kept walking, the two of the girls passed me, their phones out and ready to take photos.

"Oh! Over there!" One whispered to the other as they turned the corner that I was turning on. Towards the store... not too far up the side walk I saw a familiar, awkward figure.

Gosh, I thought to myself, you even walk like an introvert, Jun. Slipping in through the back door of the convenience store I hurried to the front where I could cut him off, but by the time I reached the counter, Jun was inside. He looked over his shoulder cautiously, heading my way. He passed by not even realizing it. I grabbed his shoulder and he boy froze. Turning him around I slapped a face mask in his hand.

After a quick word with the boy he put it on. Snatching up medicine for Lilo I paid and we rushed away from the store that the girls were just now gaining the courage to enter. Jun and I slipped by them undetected.

"What're you doing here!?" He asked me when we were nearly back.

I shook the plastic bag in Jun's face, "Lilo isn't too good remember!" I muttered.

He nodded his head, his eyes were dark. I wish I could read people like Lilo could. She would know exactly what to say, what he was thinking or feeling... no fair! It's like a super power! I told her that once... but she said it was more like a curse.

I sighed, "look... I'm not good at apologizing, that kind of sympathetic stuff is more of Lilo's specialty... but don't be mad at us please."

Jun was quiet as he nodded his head and looked down at the cement, kicking small pebbles as we walked. "Minghao is more upset than me..." he began, and I just had to say it.

"Does he need a hug. Do you need a hug? I give great hugs."

Jun made a sort of chuckling sound as he replied, "I think we're good." But then he went quiet and serious again before continuing, "why'd you lie though? Was it in your contract?"

I didn't want to answer. What was I supposed to say!? Oh I thought it would be funny OH MY BAD! No... what if he yells at me. I swear I will cry. I don't like being yelled at. I made the conscience decision then to leave a sober Lilo to pick of the pieces of the mess I'd made. But that's how we always are... "Lilo will explain when she's better... okay?" I nudged Jun's arm, "don't be too sad... or- or mad okay!?" I was anxious now.

The fabric of his mask creased a bit, and I think that means he was smiling as he said, "we'll do our best."

"Oh yay!" I chirped as we continued to walk back.
