Lilo's POV
Tayten and I were sitting on the couch when the two boys came in and stopped in front of us. I tried my best not to make eye contact with the camera, after all the director always yelled at me not to.
"Quick family meeting." Minghao announced, crossing his arms.
Tayten raised her eyebrows, "ooo we're family now."
Jun shrugged, "it feels like an eternity, but we have been living together for about a month or two now."
I frowned turning to Tayten, "doesn't that mean it's almost over?"
Tayten shook her head holding my hand, "don't worry about it," she whispered.
But I was worried about it. I know I didn't show it as much as Tayten did, I wasn't as bold as Tayten was... but I really cared for my three idiots. Even though I knew that their hearts belonged to a different family.... my heart lost definitely belonged in part to them.
"Anyways," they said again, regaining mine and Tayten's attention. "Right now our group is having promotions for a comeback." They paused, "which would usually mean we would have to go back to Korea for a while.... but because we are committed to the show, and it pays really really well, the group is coming here. We'll film promotions in China. But that means that an extra eleven people are going to be living with us for a little while..." the boys both finished. I could tell they were trying to contain their excitement. They must miss their members like crazy.
"Oh my god." Tayten breathed out, "my husband is coming for me." She said before squealing. I caught Minghao's very subtle scowl before he whispered something to Jun. Then they were quiet again.
"You can handle that right?" Jun repeated, even though he was only looking at me, I knew it was intended for both of us. I nodded my head even though I wasn't sure if it was true. If this made them really happy I want it to happen, even if it scares me a lot to be in such a small space with so many people.
Tayten, regaining her composure, finally said, "is that it?"
"Yeah," Minghao replied simply, "it's a big deal."
Tayten shrugged, "I've dealt with more." As that seemed to conclude our 'family meeting' the two dispersed into different rooms in the apartment, leaving just Jun and I.
He sat down beside me and I noticed then he was hiding something behind his back. "Okay, don't get mad." He began.
"I hate when people say that." I muttered, leaning back on the couch, waiting for the news that would most likely make me mad.
Jun cleared his throat anxiously before saying. "So I found this on the coffee table..." he took a black book out from behind his back and placed it on the couch between us. "I saw your name, got really curious and shuffled through it." I opened my mouth to reply but Jun quickly cut me off. "I know I shouldn't have! It was an invasion of your privacy, I won't do it again I swear! But for the record," he began again more slowly. "You're really good... and when we decided to do promotions here I may or may not have mentioned your drawings to our manager, who may or may not have said you can help our visual designers."
My eyes widened. I had been expecting a lot but not this. I flipped open my black sketchbook and looked at all the colorful clothing I'd drawn up, but was too broke to create. "Really?" I murmured, not taking my eyes off of a particular outfit I may or may not have based off the boy in front of me.
"Yeah." He replied, while drumming his thumbs on his knees.
I chuckled and put my hand over Jun's so he'd stop fidgeting. "I'm not mad. If it were my other sketchbook I'd be super pissed. But this is just my fashion book. Plus on top of that I get to work with actual visual designers. Because of you. Jun that's amazing! Thank you... so much." I said, noting my hand still over his.
Noticing this too, he wriggled a hand free and placed it over mine squeezing it a bit. "No problem. What are.... friends... for."
Gosh the way he says that word... friend. I'm not a fan.
