Minghao's POV

"It's finally peaceful around here," I murmured to Vernon as we sat outside of the apartment. We dangled our feet over the railing of the hallway looking over the parking lot.

He nodded his head, "What a shame Jun gets the pretty girl though." He sighed dramatically.

"Dude." I muttered.

Vernon shrugged, "what~? I'm just saying that it's unfair that only pretty people get to date pretty people. What about the rest of us?" He sighed looking up at the darkening sky, "plus things will change now. We've never had to deal with girlfriends before. And I don't know if you know this, but even the most bad ass, tough guys still treat their girls like princesses. They always come first."

I shook my head, "Lilo's humble. She told him to never put her above us or his career."

Vernon sighed, "you'll get it when you and the little one finally make things official."

I choked on my drink. "What does that mean!?"

Vernon laughed, "the only one who doesn't see it is you and maybe her."

I hugged myself against the cold, "she's more likely to date Joshy if anyone."

Vernon punched my arm softly, "no she won't. Under all the jokes and minimal flirting, she's not into him." He sighed, "plus it's a good contrast. You're very smart, grown up and serious. She's very clumsy, ditsy and free flowing. It's a good thing. You compliment each other. That's how relationships work."

"But Lilo and Jun are the same." I pointed out.

The younger boy shrugged, getting up. "Not really." He leaned against the metal railing, "Lilo's got a storm cloud over her head more often then not. She has her moments of artistic flare or confidence, but for the most part she's very mute and seems sad a lot. Jun on the other hand... he's a lot more playful and childish. He's more or less equally as mute, but when it comes to being an artist his brain is always working and wandering. And he's never not confident about himself."

"Have you like watched his vlives!?" I replied trying not to laugh.

Vernon chuckled, "okay, he's only like that when he's alone in front of a crowd."

"Well that's something they have in common." I said getting up as well. Vernon gave me a confused look. I nodded my head, "they're both very hot and cold."

Vernon nodded, "this is very true."

We laughed it off, changing the subject to album preparations and what not. It kind of felt surreal, preparing for an album while doing this show too. Yet here we were, in a small China apartment with all the members and two lovely girls. It was different, but it felt like home none the less.
