Tayten's POV

"Yeah, yeah, just one sec okay?" I said to Joshua before turning to Minghao, who I'd been holding onto. "You saw that right?" I whispered to him.

"Saw what?" He replied.

I elbowed him, "that Lilo and Jun just left."

He shrugged, "so?" He didn't make an effort to get my hands off of his sleeve, and I knew if he wanted to be free he could make it so easily. I wonder what's keeping him here. "They're friends... or something like that. They do stuff alone a lot lately."

"Okay, but, he was holding her hand." I said again, making sure to keep my voice down with everyone bustling around.

Minghao frowned, "we've held hands." He said matter of factually. At that Joshua raised an eyebrow, not because he could magically understand Chinese now. No. It was because I lunged myself onto Minghao, covering his mouth. Then he licked my hand making me drop it. "Why do you always put me in such uncomfortable situations?" He muttered gesturing to how I was literally on top of him.

"One second, Joshy." I said as I got up off the couch, taking Minghao with me. Grabbing his shirt aggressively I dragged him into my room shutting the door. "Oh my god do you get his yet."

Minghao rolled his eyes, "so what if Jun likes her? No ones gonna find out."

I opened my eyes wider, "he really does!?"

Minghao shrugged, "duh. It's not only stupidly obvious but it makes perfect sense. I mean they're practically the same and both of them jump to the opportunity to be the adult when the other needs it. But when they don't their both playful kids."

"They're older than us though." I corrected him.

He glared at me, "they don't act like it. Anyways. Right now he's just trying to take care of her. Jun's quick to give himself away."

"What about you?" I wondered aloud.

Minghao raised and eyebrow, crossing his arms, "what about me?"

I glanced down at my feet before saying, "are you... quick to give yourself away?"

The taller boy sighed before leaning down and tapping my nose. "I won't tell you so easily. Let's go before the guys make up some rumor about what happened in here."
