Jun's POV

Trouble in paradise. That's what they call it. Everything seemed perfect, yet there was also a hint of discord beneath it all.

"Oh my god!" Minghao practically yelled as he slid into our room slamming the door shut behind him.

I raised my eyebrows, looking at him with newfound interest. "What happened?"

"Tayten said she likes me."

I broke out laughing, "we all knew that already."

"What do you mean!? She was totally sending mixed signals all over the place." Minghao countered, trying to regain his breath.

I chuckled, shaking my head. "All up here buddy," I said pointing to my head. I leaned back, "so. When are you taking her out?"

"What?"

I sighed, "you're the guy you have to take her out. You have to plan everything."

Minghao sat down on his bed, "not yet though. She just confessed we're not a couple."

"Confession is step one." I replied calmly. It's been a while since I got to actually feel like a Hyung to the younger boy. "Step two is acting like a man."

"But technically I haven't confessed I just hugged her and ran off..." Minghao murmured. I couldn't help but chuckle, usually it would be me running off because I freaked out or was awkward.

"I'm sorry to tell you this but," I rested my hand on his shoulder. "You're the girl in the relationship, I can see it miles away, like she randomly confessed plus she was first, and knowing Tayten she did it with her head high and made sure you noticed it."

"Oh I definitely noticed when she THREW Gunther across the room for me, like she did for me." He began to smile like a total idiot but I could understand because I smile like that (in the inside, gotta act cool) when Lilo does anything. Smiles at me, pecks my cheeks, compliments me, anything. "But I don't want to be the girl in the relationship."

"Oh, so you do want a relationship." I wiggled my eyebrows. The boy quickly turned his head the other way embarrassed that he admitted it.

"Yes, but what if she actually was joking? What if she bought a stuffed penguin that looks exactly like Gunther?" He began to jump to conclusions. I started to zone out like I usually do but this time my deep thoughts were useful.

Ever since those gifts that fan gave us, news articles have been exploding with dating rumors. They caught on to Tayten and Joshua's weird friendship- marriage- relationship- thing, where they gave each other nicknames just to be disgusting and cringey. They caught on to DK's and Lilo's weird tension, of course I ended that tension (totally didn't threaten him ;) ) but how did they notice it? We made sure everything didn't look like there was a relationship involved even the joke relationship.

"Minghao." The boy stopped ranting about god knows what now, and began to listen to me.

"Something is gonna happen and it's not gonna end pretty."

"Kinda like you."

"Respect your hyung." I snapped back.

Minghao's expression softened as he murmured, "what's going to happen?"

I sighed shaking my head, "I don't know... I just have that feeling."
