Tayten's POV

"I kinda feel bad about this." I murmured to Minghao as we sat out in the hall. He was sitting on the floor leaning his head against Mingyu's calf, which was kind of cute.

He looked over at me, but didn't move. "Why? It worked out for the better."

I sighed, "but you made everyone act way too dramatic." I shook my head, "Lilo will tell him what actually happened and he'll connect the dots and murder us all for making it seem like Lilo died."

"But will he really though?" Minghao replied, cozying up against the giant Mingyu.

"Be mad? Um yes! Any sane person would've gotten a cab. Dis bitch ran!" I said sighing. "He's going to actually kill me."

Minghao rolled his eyes, "that would require Jun connecting the dots. Which he won't do. And even if he had the motive to, he wouldn't figure it out."

"So we just... won't tell him?" I replied cautiously.

Minghao shrugged, "you talk too much."

"I thought that was a trait you liked about me!" I argued.

Minghao shrugged, "like is a strong word dear."

"But she's wearing your jacket." Mingyu began saying words I couldn't understand.

Minghao sat up, staring me up and down. "You're not wrong."

"Well I mean, I have eyes." He added.

Minghao shrugged, cozying back up against the other member. "I've never seen that article of clothing before in my life." He finally said in a language I could understand.

"But this is yours." I said.

Minghao sighed, "you have no receipts."

"It has your name on the tag."

"Jesus Christ Tayten, can't you see I'm trying to nap!"

I rolled my eyes, "well sorry your highness." I got up, "I'm gonna check on Lilo." I murmured walking up to the door.

When I entered the room all the lights were off, except a small lamp by the bed. I made to turn on the lights, then paused. I could barely make out the silhouettes of Jun curled up by Lilo on the hospital bed. Not wanting to disturb them (because they were finally chill for once) I exited the room. Outside the room however was the other couple Minghao and Mingyu.

"God I'm third wheeling everywhere," I murmured, heading for the end of the hall.

Upon hearing this Minghao shot up, dusting himself off. "Ew, Mingyu is such a loser. Let's go." He said catching up beside me.

"I read about that online." I commented sarcastically.

Minghao raised an eyebrow, "about what?"

"You're love hate relationship with Mingyu." I replied nonchalantly.

"Another rumor," Minghao shot back.

"Oh Mingyu! I miss Mingyu!" I cried between sniffles. "He- he died in my dream. I need to see my Mingyu!" I joked.

Minghao held me in a playful head lock ruffling my hair. "All rumors."

"So he isn't my competition then?" I replied.

Minghao shrugged, "of course not." He paused, letting go of me quickly. "Not that I in anyway consider you that way."

"Oh please!" I replied. "There's this unspoken thing," I began, clearly quoting a movie.

"There's no 'unspoken thing.'" Minghao replied, putting the phrase in quotes.

I gasped, "you've seen Guardians of the Galaxy too!? I thought only people with a sense of humor watched that movie!"

"What're you talking about? I was just replying." He said casually as we continued on. "Are you going back to the apartment?"

I nodded my head slowly, "we all can. She's fine. Just let her stay her for a bit. They'll discharge her. Everyone wins."

Minghao nodded his head, "you would know."

"Yes I would."
