Chapter 3 - Truth Odair

We all sit in a circle on the floor as Finnick places the bottle into the middle.

"Who's first?" Glimmer asks.

"Me! Can I?!?" Finnick squeals, so we all agree just to shut him up. He spins the bottle and lands on Glimmer.

"Truth or Dare?"He asks smiling.

"Ummm Dare?" Glimmer replies nervously.

"I dare you to kiss Cato for 5 minutes!" Finnick says pointing towards Cato.

"Easy" Is all Glimmer says before pouncing on a smug Cato. After their 5 minutes Glimmer sits back down and Spins the Bottle, It lands on Cato and he chooses truth.

"Have you ever done...It?" She asks with a knowing look on her face.

All Cato replies with is "You know I have because we have" Which makes the group scream and laugh. Cato then spins the bottle and it lands on Peeta. Oh god, Please pick truth, please pick tru- "Dare" Peeta says crushing my thoughts.

"I dare you to do seven minutes in heaven with Katniss!"

Peeta gives me a small smile before helping me up and leading me over to the cupboard.

He opens the door and says "After you my lady" which makes me laugh as I walk into the large cupboard that holds all of Glimmers many coats. The others follow and lock the door so we can't leave. For the first few minutes all we do is stare into each others eyes until eventually I gave in and moved closer. I stopped just before his lips thinking about whether I should do this but the gap is closed by him pressing his lips to mine. We stay like this for the final 5 minutes until the door is opened on our make out session. It doesn't stop us though. We only stop after Cato lifts me away from Peeta's body and back to the circle.

We decide to watch a film after that so Cato picks out Paranormal Activity 3 even though all the girls object. I sit kn the sofa next to Peeta but after the first 20 minuets I find myself Snuggled up against his chest with his arm around me. I look around and see all of the girls in the same position with the other boys.

"Lets go outside" Peeta whispers in my ear. We both slowly get up from the couch and make out way through the kitchen and into the garden. He sits down on the grass and gestures for me to join him. I sit fairly close to him and he puts his arm around me and brings me closer. I begin the get butterflies in my stomach and he moves his hand up and down my back in small movements.

"You know Katniss, there is just something about you that I just can't get enough of" He suddenly says bringing me out of my daydream.

"And what's that?" I ask, smiling up at him.

"I don't know yet" he replies smiling down at me. He moves closer until our lips are brushing against one another's until finally I give in and push my lips to his. He pushes his hand against my back making my body closer to his. He pulls away momentarily to catch his breath before kissing me again. I pull away and stay there in his lap for what seems like forever until finally he says

"Katniss I was wandering If you would do me the honour of becoming my girlfriend?"

I stop. Did Peeta Mellark, the hottest, sweetest, sexist guy in school just ask me that?

"Peeta.....
