Cameron couldn't even look at Kate in the eyes. After kissing her best friend stupidly the day she got into the accident, he couldn't help but think it was karma all along. The only wish he was hoping was that Kate doesn't know about Cameron's stupidity  and that she wasn't there when Cameron kissed Alison. And the other wish was for Karma to choose the one who made the mistake.

Cameron was glad and also glum when he figured that Kate forgot about him. Glad; because she was alive. Glum; because he still loves her no matter what.

Cameron looked at Kate in the hospital bed. Just there sitting. Her eyes couldn't possibly say, you hurt me beacause how could she think of that when she had an amnesia.

Alison said slowly, "he's your boyfriend. You told me you weren't ready to get into a relationship but you did anyway. You were really happy when you two started dating. Especially how the fans treated you and his relationship. Catheron. That's the ship name for you two."

"Fans? Ship name?" She asked not breaking an eye contact. Cameron's feet slowly moved forward. Inches by inches he was movig closer. He wanted to just dive in and kiss Kate but that wouldn't be fair.

Then Taylor showed his phone to Kate. Cameron didn't have to see it. He knew what it was hearing the first word Cameron said, "For the record, while you guys were actually fighting to what we're going to watch, I asked Kate to be my girlfriend so it didn't just happened as a boom and we're dating."

Kate slowly looked up at Cameron and she was smiling. The video went on and Kate was tearing up. It ended with everyone shouting out loud saying, "Thank you, Seattle!"

The tears seemed real. Cameron licked his lips and Kate just stared at him.

"You don't know how sorry I am that I forgot about our relationship."

Cameron just nodded, "I told you. Let's just forget about it."

Even though that's not what Cameron wanted to say, that's what kept leaving his mouth. No, he can't just forget about their relationship and be fine. He's not gonna be fine. He was at the other end of the bed where Kate was lying on. He licked his lips trying hard not to cry. Don't. Not in front of Kate, he told himself.

"Come here," Kate said.

Cameron walked closer and Kate hugged him. It didn't felt too weird because the hugs felt like the other hugs. When Cameron was leaving first or when Kate was leaving first. There was just no plane ride home where they're going the same time. So they'll hug. Kate's ear on Cameron's chest and Cameron's chin on her head.

Cameron would sometimes kiss her forehead, so he did it again this time.

Everyone was looking at them. Mahogany was almost tearing up. It was probably the most dramatic scene that she'd ever seen. Then Cameron pushed Kate off, "Get better soon. I obviously smell pretty bad right now." He decided to joke, and she did laughed. "The guys are here to help you and the girls too, I'll see you later, alright?"
