My body crashed through various tree branches, they sliced my skin and I tumbled closer and closer to the ground. As I fell, I saw my cloak begin to change back into my regular clothes. Next time I'd have to remember not to fly so far from the ground. Snow had begun to float lazily down from the sky. The flakes were large and cottony. Finally my body thudded against the ground. I lay there for a second, unmoving. My body was filled with cold from both the ground, and the air around me.

Eventually, I pushed myself up off the hard earth. Raking a hand through my red hair, I walked back towards the road. It was going to be a long walk home. I felt a twinge of remorse seep into my heart, I couldn't control what I did when I became the reaper.

"I hope she doesn't kill me when I get home." I said aloud to myself. Lilith was going to be pissed, especially if she already knows what I did to those poor campers.

Finally I broke through the thick woods. I let out a sigh of relief at the sight of the asphalt. I had found the road that would lead me home. Lead me to my sister, and best friend. I was still mad at the both of them, but it was freezing and I was exhausted.

"Lilith," I called out opening the door. The house was eerily silent. After looking around I confirmed that no one was home. I decided to sit down at the kitchen island and wait for them to come home. Not even a second later I heard the door bang open.

"You bastard," my sister said running towards me full force. Raising on hand, she smacked me hard. And then before I knew it she had her arms around me in a vice grip of a hug. I felt her crying against my shoulder. Looking over at Cam I saw him shrug.

"Missed you too sis," I said hugging her back.

"Where have you been?" She sobs.

"It's better if you don't ask that..." I trailed off. The guilt once again made my stomach churn.

Her voice goes extremely soft, "how many?"

"Four." I clear my throat awkwardly.

"That's a lot less than I expected." My sister chuckled, sounding borderline hysterical.

"We found something that may help you," Cam said from the opposite end of the room. I'm shocked to hear his voice.

"You did?"

"Yes, it's a potion. Only temporary, but it will have to do until we can find another solution." Cam came and sat down at the table. He interlocked his fingers and eyed me with concern.

"How long will I have?" I asked.

"A couple of months? At the most." My sister said raising her head from my shoulder. She had finally stopped the water works.

"Guess we better hurry up with that second solution." I said cringing.

"María said she'll call as soon as the potion is done. Gabe you're going to have to try your best to sit tight, and not go reaper for the time being." My sisters voice was full of concern.

"Okay okay. You do realize I have no control over it right?" My eyebrows knit together as a frown formed on my face.

"Fuck," Lilith breathes. It was weird hearing her swear. Although she'll never admit it, she was as helpless as I am when the necromancer spirits take over her body.

"Guess you and I will be spending some quality time together," Cameron said to me.

"Some much needed time." I smiled at him.

Hopefully I'd be able to keep my shit together as we waited for the potion. I didn't want to hurt anyone else.

Which is better, normal Gabe? Or angry reaper Gabe? I can't decide.
