Signe was sleeping peacefully in her bed, the rain falling outside hitting the window due to the strong window there was outside when her phone began ringing loudly on her bedside table. She groaned as she rolled to the side, wondering who could be calling her such early time in the morning, she could be a morning person, but for sure she wouldn't be happy for being woke up with no reason. It was six of the morning and Signe had only gone to bed after 1:00 am. The ginger glanced at her phone screen only to see Shawn's name on it. A tired smile showed up on the girl's face as she picked up the phone with curiosity.

"Hey." She greeted sleepily as she rolled again on her bed, her belly facing the ceiling.

"I'm outside. Can you come down quickly?" His voice seemed emotionless, dead and that scared the girl. What was wrong? She jumped out of bed quickly, turned off the phone and ran down the stairs almost slipping in one of the steps due to how fast she was going. The floor was cold against her bare feet, however, she couldn't care less about it, all she wanted was to figure out what was happening. Why didn't Shawn used the spare keys she had given? And why was he outside?

"Is everything alright?" Signe inquired as she opened the front door, revealing Shawn, soaked from head to toes. "Oh God, come on in. Let's get you dry."

"No. I-I just need to talk to you." He didn't look at her which only served to feed her worries. She sucked in a breath, he had never acted that way. Her mind began throwing reasons at her as to why the boy was acting like that while her heart began beating faster.

"Okay? Can't you do it inside? You're going to get sick before your Tour even begins."

"I'll be fine," Shawn assured her. Signe didn't know what else to say, so she just waited for the boy to talk again. He appeared to be battling with himself which was basically a give away that something not good was going to come out of this. "I was thinking...and...this tour...I don't think I can give you what you need."

"W-what do you mean?" The ginger questioned shocked. Was he breaking up with her? Her heart ached just by the thought of that being true. She took a few steps forward to get closer to him, the rain beginning to soak her as well.

"Signe...I won't be home for months, I won't get to see you, to talk to you and you need someone who is able to give you that. There's no need to make your life harder." He explained. This time Shawn dared to look her in the eyes, they looked sad and darker and mirrored his exhaustion. There wasn't need much to realize he hadn't slept at all.

"What are you talking about Shawn?" She felt her heart break like it never did before. A pain she hoped to not go through again, but unfortunately, she was feeling all over again, twice as painful.

"I'm sorry, I really am."

"So, everything you said yesterday was bullshit?!" Signe threw at his face. She believed those words and they had made her incredibly happy only to be over just like that. It was as if the universe hated her and for every time she achieved happiness the universe would figure out a way of throwing her back down again.

"Of course not. I meant every single word!" Shawn exclaimed as he tried to reach for the girl's hand. She stepped back, hiding her hands behind her back as she looked to the side at the same time tears began prickling in her eyes.

"I don't believe that." The girl spat as she forced herself to look back at the boy. He sucked in a breath, pain splattered on his eyes. "Just so you know. You're making a mistake."

"That hasn't stopped you before, has it?" When she heard those words, she felt like she had been punched in the stomach. Shawn's eyes widened as soon as he realized what words left his mouth. "Signe...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
