| Signe |

She was with Blake, sitting on an airport bench while they waited for Signe's mother and stepfather to get back from their last trip. The ginger was still trying to figure out how they were going to afford their house considering Daniel wasn't exactly working and their savings had been mostly used on all the traveling. Signe was still mad at her mother, for doing what she did, yet she couldn't spend much time without talking to her, her mother was her hero, her best friend and she loved her unconditionally. Two days ago she had spoken with her mother through Facetime and as expected her miserable state made Jolene getting worried about her daughter. Evidently, Signe's mother forced her to go take a shower, change into new and fresh clothes and do something other than looking gloomy and hopeless.

"Honey, I went through the same. Sure it was different situations, but I felt the very same." Jolene had admitted, her green eyes were warm and soft, yet the girl couldn't have helped but noticed the dark bags under her eyes. Two thoughts had crossed her mind, one she'd rather not think about it at all as it would corrupt her innocence and the other, that travel had stolen all of her energies. "You can't let that stop you from living sweetie. It's hard, I know. But you have to get back your life, snap out of that state. He's not the sun, you are."

"Mom, why are you quoting Grey's Anatomy?" Signe had smiled for the first time in a week, tears running down her face at the same time.

"Well, because Cristina Yang was right. So, go on. Be the sun." Her mother had encouraged. They had talked a bit longer, especially about the girl moving to Blake's apartment and then they said their goodbyes.

Regardless of her mother's choices, Signe had to admit it was good to see her so happy, the same going for Daniel who also seemed to have a blast. Suddenly, Blake elbowed her bringing her back to the airport, snapping her off her thoughts.

"Jeez, I called you for like ten minutes. For a moment I thought I had lost you." The blond joked while the ginger rolled her eyes at him. It was unbelievable, he had his heart broken as well as was able to joke around. She had to try, try to lighten the mood, try to do something else than being sad. Like her mother had said be the sun.

"I'm here now. What is it?"

"I was trying to say, their plane is almost here." He said. Signe glanced at the windows far away from they were standing, catching small glimpses of other planes leaving the airport and some other landing. She was used to that kind of life, constantly catching planes to fly to Sweden to visit Aksel, her brother Claes and her grandparents and she had to admit, sometimes all she wanted was to see something new and catch a different plane for a change.

They waited a bit longer until Signe was able to hug her mother once again, doing her best to not cry at the airport. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be tears of happiness, but from the broken heart beating on her chest. The ginger couldn't help, but feel like there was something else to her mother she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Jolene looked a little fragile as if she was made of glass and would break with the tenderest of the touches. She brushed it off, it was all exhaustion from the trip and she joined the chat going on with Blake, Daniel, and her mother. Signe explained better her plans of finding a job soon, so she could pay her part of the rent, she still had no idea of where to being searching, yet it was a plan, better than having none right?

"How was the travel?" Blake inquired politely once they were inside Signe's car. Daniel was sitting in the shotgun seat while her friend and her mother were in the back seats.
