Signe woke up in an indescribable good mood. Shawn's arm was still wrapped around her waist, their legs were still tangled, except now Shawn was almost completely on top of her. She reached for her phone which battery was full, opened Instagram and snapped a selfie of how she woke up. She pondered whether she should or not post it and ended up doing it. After that, the ginger wondered how she was going to get up and cook their breakfast without waking up her boyfriend. The girl untangled their legs without stirring much and then tried to release herself from his hold only to have Shawn pulling her closer to him, his lips touching the crook of her neck.

"Where are you going?" The boy questioned sleepily.

"I was going to cook us breakfast, but someone doesn't let go of me." Signe giggled as she turned around to be face to face with him. His eyes were still closed, yet he was grinning like a little kid. She leaned her forehead against his, their noses inches apart, enjoying the feeling of completeness filling her within.

"No, please let's just stay here a little longer." He asked at the same he opened his eyes, revealing the caramel irises. "We could stay here all day."

"It's a very tempting offer."

"But?"

"But, wouldn't it be better if we finished watching the Harry Potter movies we were supposedly watching yesterday?" Signe suggested. She took her right hand to his cheek, caressing it as she smiled. The way he looked at her afterward made her heart melt right there. She had never imagined that one day she would lay down in front of someone who would look at her that way, so overwhelming, intense and passionate. It was something capable of stealing away anyone's breath. Fairytales could have happy endings, yet that little moment is never found within them which makes her wonder. Would it be better a happy ending? Or countless other moments like those? Honestly, the girl preferred the second. One more moment like those would make her extremely happy.

Shawn smiled her back, yet now his eyes transmitted curiosity as if at that moment he would like to know what was crossing her mind. Life could be full of uncertainties, but one thing Signe was sure of was that he was the one. Nothing would change that. It was as if it was inscribed into a rock and therefore it would have to happen. They would have to find each other at some point. He was her soulmate e not everyone had the possibility of finding theirs. For that, she felt blessed. Please world, don't take this away from me the ginger begged mentally.

"I'll get up and help you making breakfast and we'll watch the movies if you tell me what you are thinking about." Shawn dared. The girl bit her lower lip and nodded, accepting his dare.

"This will get cheesy. Just saying." She warned with a chuckle. Her cheeks started to burn and getting red as she thought about saying out loud the things which had crossed her mind. She wasn't ashamed of them, she was just shy.

"I love cheesy." He encouraged causing the ginger to roll her eyes at him.

"I was thinking about the way you were looking at me." Signe admitted. She retrieved her hand from Shawn's cheek and began playing with the ring he always used. "It's...breathtaking. When I see you looking at me like that...I feel like I'm gonna melt into a puddle. Like, how is it possible to someone be so full of love? And I know... I just know you are the one for me."

"Marry me." Shawn said all of the sudden. The ginger's eyes widened, her heart stopped beating, her breath got caught up in her throat. Was that for real? Shawn wouldn't play with her like that. She knew he wouldn't, therefore that had to be real. Upon seeing the girl's reaction he spoke again. "I'm serious. Marry me. You're everything that I want. Everything that I need. I made the mistake of letting you go before and I can't let it happen again. I want you to be mine, only mine and make me the happiest man in the world and I'll treat you like the queen you are and fall in love with you a little more every single day."

By then, Signe's eyes were forming tears. Happy tears. For a brief second, it crossed her mind they were still too young to marry, but then, she had just said they were soulmates. That was the right thing to do.

"I'll marry you." She replied. Their lips connected, their tongues exploring each other mouths as they got impossibly close to one another. A current of electricity ran through her body as she moved her hands to his hair and Shawn began kissing her jaw line. He was almost reaching her neck when her stomach grumbled. They stopped what they were doing and stared at each other for a few seconds before they broke down laughing. "I need food."

"No shit sherlock!" Shawn exclaimed still laughing.

They got up and went to the kitchen where they made pancakes for their breakfast together. That moment seemed out of a movie. They threw flour to each other dirtying the whole kitchen while a song played in the background to which neither of the two was paying attention to. Despite being a small moment, simple, it was there happiness was pure and genuine, no sadness surrounding them. There, at that moment, there was no Jeremy trying to scare them and making threats, no insecurity capable of breaking them apart. They were just two people living a good moment with no worries. Signe felt capable of living on that moment forever. There was nothing there that stopped her from being happy. Jolene would certainly be proud of her and of what her daughter had achieved in so little time after her death. That made her happier. She would have to visit her grave again and catch up with her - within what was possible.

Later, they took another shower together to clean their hair from the flour covering it and watched the Harry Potter's movies after that. They weren't able to finish the marathon due to the dinner with Shawn's family approaching. Daniel had been invited to join them too which made Signe sigh in content. Daniel was her family too now and it would be nice for Shawn's family to connect with him as well. It was obvious of how much Daniel had changed ever since Signe's mother died. He would never be the same man. However, he was no longer the depressed man who confessed to Signe of how he wanted to take his life once. The British wasn't at his happiest state, however, he was close to being happy and that was already something.

As always, Shawn's family received Signe - and Daniel - with open arms. Always nice and caring, asking them how they were and if they had a nice day. Aaliyah, as usual, was excited about having the ginger's presence at home. They clearly shared a bond which the girl believed to be unbreakable by now. Sure, Signe was older than Aaliyah, yet there was no law stopping them from being close friends.

The idea of when marrying her boyfriend -  which could happen soon - his family would officially become her family too made her filled heart making her feel like she could explode of happiness. Perhaps that was what life did. It takes things away from you so you learn a lesson such as to cherish and appreciate what you have because on a moment it's there and on the other, it's gone. It puts you through a lot of crap so you learn how to survive the craziest and hardest moments and then you will learn how to fully appreciate happiness.

One thing was for sure, Signe was going to cherish those moments, hold them close to her heart as if they were going to disappear tomorrow.
