The feeling of finishing the first album was indescribable. The idea of soon releasing it excited her. Signe couldn't wait to find out what reaction would her fans have. Hopefully a positive one. She had managed to even write a song about her boyfriend and that made her happy. She also couldn't wait to see his reaction. However, she was on that moment running late. Blake had texted about Shawn being landing soon and the girl knew she wouldn't have much time to cook a meal and have it ready for when her boyfriend arrived. Chinese food will have to do the ginger thought as she said her goodbyes to her friends. The people who were working with her, helping her all the way to make sure she would live her dream right.

She rushed to the car, only to be stopped by a familiar face leaning against her car. Alex. Signe's eyes widened in surprise at the same time she began walking again. What was he doing here?

"Hey... I'm sorry. I'm probably the last person you wanna see, but I needed to talk to you." Alex said, his blue eyes transmitting sadness as his spoke.

"I'm not mad at you. I was worried you didn't want to be my friend anymore, just that." Signe replied as she put her hands in her pocket. She bit her inferior lip and Alex smiled sadly at her. For a moment she feared that was exactly what he was about to say, but when he spoke other words came out of his mouth.

"Only a fool would throw away your friendship."

On that moment the ginger realized she had to move and get the food or there would be nothing prepared for when her boyfriend got home.

"Uh...Alex. If you want to talk I need you to get in the car. I'm in a hurry!" She warned as she approached her car and opened it. The blue-eyed boy nodded and quickly walked to the other side of the car, sitting in the shotgun seat. The girl started the engine of her car and rushed to the Chinese restaurant where they also served takeaway. "I'm glad you still wanna be my friend. Wait, did you travel all the way here just to tell me that?"

"This might not seem like it, but it is something delicate. I can't just call you and say hey we remain friends, have a nice day!" Alex retorted.

"You didn't choose the right time, but don't worry. I think I'll manage." The ginger said as she peeked at her wristwatch.

"Oh, is it because of Shawn?" His voice sounded neutral, but as Signe glanced at him she could still see pain. It had been months since the last time they spoke and yet mentioning her boyfriend's name still got Alex to react the same way. He took a deep breath and tried to look happy. "Well, tell me about it girl. Didn't you move in with him?"

"I did. I wasn't supposed to, but I have no complaints about the change of plans." She answered. She tried to repress a smile, yet that task revealed to be quite impossible. That was just something she was really happy about.

"I'm glad you're happy."

"Aww, Alex! That was very sweet, thank you! I hope you'll find the right girl soon." Signe told him as she saw the restaurant at the end of the road. They talked all the way to the restaurant and then while they waited to be attended. Alex updated on how things were back in Scotland, how Milo had found a girlfriend named Danny and how Stephanie confessed what she felt for him. The ginger even questioned what had he said about Steph's confession only to find out he hadn't exactly responded to it. "I'm not very fond of the girl, but you should honestly think about it."

"I did!"

"And?" The girl encouraged as she grinned. Alex stared at her jumbled before regaining composure.

"I don't know. We've been friends for a long time, but I think we're just that. Friends." The boy admitted as he shrugged his shoulders. Signe nodded, Steph would have to look for someone else.
