Francis was busy in the kitchen when to doorbell rang. When he heard Wendy was going to open the door he wanted to run after her and stop her. But when he got out of the kitchen he saw Jeremy and he shook his head. Francis waited for some yelling or cursing but nothing happened. When all three of them came in to the dining room all seemed well.

He set up this whole dinner party with only one goal. To get those two together, talking. If Wendy was angry about it she didn't show it. Even when they had to sit next to each other.

"How are you Tom?" She asked after a couple of minutes. "I'm fine, you?" He said softly "I've been better." Tom looked sad. "I'm tired and I don't see how I would be able to go to bed early." She added. He smiled. "O yes, Even a short travel can make one tired." "Yes." She said and finished the first course. They sat in silence. Wendy looked around the table, Jeremy and Francis were talking to Ben, the three other women where conspiring together. Wendy couldn't take part in those conversations because the women were too far away and she didn't know much of the subject of the men.

"I'm really sorry I lied to you about my name." Tom said looking her in the eyes. "It's okay, I'm not mad anymore." Tom let out a deep breath. "That's good to hear." "I had a great time Tom, that's why I was so angry. I had a great time with a man I just met and you lied." She looked at her plate, putting her knife and fork down. "I was just so surprised you didn't know who I was, I was just a fool." He took her hand. "I'll ask again, please forgive me?" "I already said I wasn't mad anymore Tom." Wendy smiled and shook her head. "Even if I wanted to stay mad It's impossible, just look at those eyes!" "I know I'm irresistible!" They both laughed.

"Look like someone isn't angry anymore." Francis said looking at Tom and Wendy. "No Francis, I've forgiving Tom for lying. If you think about it I should be angry with you. I cannot expect a stranger to be honest but you my friend..." She pointed her finger at Francis. He raised his hands "You could never be angry with my chocolate bean." He laughed "You love me too much." "That's true." She said shrugging her shoulders.

"What's with the tattoo?" Sophie asked looking at Wendy's wrist. Francis fell silent. "It's beautiful." Emma said looking at the butterfly. "Yes it is." Wendy whispered. "Is it a butterfly or an angel?" Millie asked trying to get a better look. Wendy looked at her tattoo it was a little boy with butterfly wings that flew to the stars. the main colours where white, blue and gold. "It's my son." She said softly "His name was Angel" "Was?" Tom asked looking at her with soft eyes. "Yes, was. He died minutes after he was born." She smiled at him. "I'm so sorry Wendy." Sophie said feeling guilty. "It's okay Sophie, you didn't know. Did you?" Wendy smiled again.

"So Francis, you haven't told me yet what I will be working on?" She tried to change the subject. "OO yes, There is this charity dinner in a few weeks. Well everyone here at this table is going." He laughed "You can go crazy with your chocolate. The host of the evening insist on it." He couldn't help but grin. "Who's the host?" Wendy asked seeing her friend was dying to tell her. "Mr Allen." "What? Gaston is the host?! How lovely.!" She couldn't help but being happy. "You're a big fan?" Ben asked amused. "I've met him two years ago. He really loved my chocolates. I send him a box every month! He's so kind." She said

The evening came to an end. All the guest had a lovely time. "Nice to meet you Wendy."Ben said giving her a hug."Don't be a stranger we leave four houses down the street." Millie smiled giving her a hug as well. Sophie went home earlier and Emma had a text so she left to meet up with some friends in a pub. Jeremy and Francis where cleaning up. So Wendy had to say goodnight to Tom alone.

"It was nice to see you again Wendy." Tom said, looking down at her. "It was nice to see you Tom." They looked in each other's eyes. "I've missed you, I can't stop thinking about you Wendy, that night." He sighed. He came closer holding her hands. "I know" She held his gaze. He came closer now looking at her lips. "I can't forget those lips, they're so soft." He whispered.

Wendy swallowed and before she knew it. He pressed his lips against hers. soft at first but then more passionate. Wendy kissed him back. She missed those lips, she missed him.
