Chapter 27

"What did you and Asano talk about?"

"Won't tell you"

After those two sentences between Karma and you, he wasn't talking to you during the rest of the school. He would ask his friends if they knew anything about this, but he was disappointed to find out they didn't. He would stare at you but he would look away if you turned to face him. He would throw paper balls at you, but later would act as if nothing happened.

He was so childish when coming to jealousy.

And cute.

Your inner demon was kind of enjoying that face and poutings of his, no matter how wrong you knew it was. Kayano and Yukiko sighed while looking at you and him.

"What's wrong with you and him again? I thought you were closer... I mean... very close" Kayano said and you giggled.

"Don't worry, everything is going to be okay... I just wanna tease him a little bit today"

"Your confidence scares me..." Yukiko murmured.

After the bell rang at the end of the last lesson, you stood up and turned to face Karma. He looked away again and packed quickly his things, pretending he didn't see you.

"Karma..."

He didn't face you.

"Karma~"

He instantly smiled when he heard that sweet tone of yours, but soon pretended to ignore you again.

You smirked.

"Akabane"

"Hey!"he snapped at you "Don't call me like that"

You laughed at his reaction and he sighed in defeat. After you ranked first in class, it was suddenly easier to beat him in different things.

"So, you hear me now?"you asked and he stuck out his tongue.

"Unfortunately yes. What do you want?"

You searched your bag and pulled out a black phone. The phone you had dropped in the glass with the water. Karma was surprised to see it and willingly took it in his hands.

"Wow, it's still alive?"

"I just dropped it into water, don't worry... it's just... everything is deleted. Pictures, songs, contacts... you'll have to add them again. I'm sorry" you said and lowered your head.

He smiled at you, stood up and caressed your hair. You were the only ones in the classroom.

"It's okay... I just wanna take some photos from your phone. You will also be my first contact... how does it sound? Hey, don't make that face..."he said and giggled slightly.

You raised your head and laughed.

"You smile again"you told him and he clapped his hands.

"Nice game girl... now let me add you to my contacts..." he said and typed at his phone. You tried to look at the name he would put at your contact, but he wouldn't let you see.

"Hey, lemme see"

"No way. I will show you when I want too" he said and you knew you couldn't insist this time.

He pulled out your phone and sent the photos he wanted. You sat next to him and watched what he was doing. All of the pictures were from the trip, and he also took the one from detention. He put it as a wallpaper again.

"You have taken lots of pictures with my phone..."you murmured and he smiled at that.

He finished sending photos and gave your phone back. You were about to stand up and pack your things, but he held your arm and pulled you down again, closer to him.
