"What? So soon?"

"You need to go, now!"

"Okay..wait..how?"

"Just...jump out the window,"

"What?! Are you crazy?"

"Do you want us to be caught?"

"Fine,"

"I'll see you soon,"

"I love you,"

"I love you too, now go!"

"Morning (Y/N)," your best friend, Luisa smiles as she walks into the kitchen.

"Morning sleepyhead," you giggle. "There's some bread in the fridge..I'm sorry I didn't prepare anything. I just woke up too," you begin to laugh and she rolls her eyes.

"Eh, I'm not hungry anyways," she smiles.

You and Luisa were the best of friends, practically sisters - and had been flatting together for six months. Living with your best friend could not get any better, except, you'd been hiding something from her for three months now.

"Well, that makes two of us," you sigh as you sit down at the breakfast table. She follows suit and sits down opposite you.

"So..what did you do last night?" she asks casually and your eyes widen. You grip your cup of tea in your hands and thank the heavens that you didn't choke.

"What?" you ask quietly and she looks at you quizzically.

"Last night, remember?" she frowns. "I was out...what did you do? Read a book?" she rests her chin on her hand and you breathe a sigh of relief - inwardly, of course.

She hadn't found out.

"Yeah, I read a book. In fact, I'd fallen asleep three chapters in," you lie and she nods.

"I figured. You are such a bookworm!" she exclaims playfully.

"Well that's how God made me! Don't judge," you flip your hair and the two of you burst into laughter.

"I'm not! I'm just saying..." she trails off thoughtfully. "You should get a boyfriend. You've been single ever since we moved in together. Any guy would die to be with you!" she cheers and you grimace.

"No..I don't think I want to do that as yet..." you fiddle with your fingers nervously. "I-"

"Nonsense!" she cuts you off. "In fact, I have a friend whom I work with who's been asking about you lately. I'm sure he'd like to take you out," she runs to the telephone and begins dialing his number.

"No! Luisa..." you stop as you hear her speak with her friend. 

She mentions your name and giggles a little before putting the phone down. You curse yourself inwardly.

"Yep. Jake really does like you," she winks and you shake your head. 

"No, Luisa you don't understand-"

"Hush!" she holds her hand out. "He's coming over today at six. Just go with the flow and see where it goes from there," she looks at you hopefully.

"Luisa, I can't I'm already-"

"Do it for me? Please?" she gives you those eyes you know you can't refuse.

"Oh God..." you sigh hesitantly. "Okay,"
