♥Dance(Bad Era)♥

"If you don't dance (Y/N), you're going to get it,"

You wake up with a start from the nightmare you'd just had and you attempt to steady your breathing as you look over to see your husband, Michael, still fast asleep. 

You run your fingers through your hair as you look around the dark room - still trying to come to terms with your nightmare.

"It's just a nightmare," you whisper to yourself.

Sure, it was a nightmare. A nightmare of past events that you'd preferred to have forgotten.

As your heart continues to race, you feel Michael stir a little and he sits up slowly with tired eyes. 

"Hey," he says as he rubs his eyes. "You okay princess?"

You look at him for a moment, smiling slightly at his adorable demeanor, and nod. 

"Yeah I'm fine," you lie. "Just thought I'd sit up for a while,"

"At..." he glances at the clock sitting on the bedside table. "One in the morning?" he raises an eyebrow.

"Yes," you shrug. "There's no rule that says I can't," 

He scoffs a little and shakes his head at your quick reply.

"Are you sure you're okay?" he prods and you nod vigorously.

"Yes! I'm okay..." you say as you get back underneath the covers. "Now let's go back to sleep,"

Michael studies you for a moment skeptically before finally giving in and slipping under the covers, pulling you close into him.

"(Y/N)!" Janet and Luisa run up to you, engulfing you in a warm hug.

"Hey guys," you giggle. "It's great to see you guys!" 

"Oh!" Luisa flips her hair. "Thanks,"

After looking at her for a moment, you and Janet burst into giggles.

You and Michael had decided to host a little lunch to bring your close friends and family together - for sort of a bonding session since the two of you had been very busy lately and hadn't had time for the simple things.

"This place looks amazing!" Janet comments, referring to the beautifully decorated tent which was located on the lawn outside. "I still haven't come to terms with how creative you are!"

You giggle a little and shake your head. 

"Stop Janet....I'm blushing," you tease and the three of you begin to giggle again.

"Oh.." you begin thoughtfully as you observe the two of them. "Have the two of you eaten?"

"Oh yeah!" they both exclaim. 

"The food was great," Luisa smiles widely and you return her expression.

"Good," you smile whilst nodding your head.

"(Y/N)...calm down. You're so tense," Janet raises an eyebrow.

"She's always pretty worked up though," Luisa comments, her voice laced with concern.

"Guys! This is a reunion....forget about that," you wiggle your eyebrows and the three of you burst into yet another fit of giggles.

"Everyone!"
