You sigh as you lean back against your best friend, Luisa's, sofa. She giggles a little at your paranoid nature and walks up to you slowly as she hands you a glass of water.
"Can you just calm down?" she raises her eyebrow. "He's your husband anyway...I'm sure he'll be fine. He's settled down," she shrugs.
"I know it's just.....there'll be so many famous people there...what if something happens?" you fold your arms as you frown.
"Like what? He cheats?" she says as she motions for you to take the glass of water which is still in her outstretched hand.
You giggle softly as you take the glass from her. "Sorry,"
She makes her way to sit next to you and sighs as she does so.
"Listen, he'll be fine. You guys have been married for a year now...everything'll be fine," she says reassuringly.
You nod hesitantly and try to take comfort in Luisa's words.
Michael had been invited to a party; one of which you hadn't had the slightest idea what it was about. Michael had told you that Frank had urged him to go and that you could have gone with him if you felt comfortable.
You, being the person you are, didn't take interest in large crowds with loud music - especially when a major portion of the crowd was composed of famous people.
You'd explained to Michael that you weren't very comfortable - and with much convincing, you'd finally gotten him to attend the party without you; with Frank as his company of course.
Now, you were sitting in your best friend's house, worried as ever. You'd noted the time and realized that the party would have started and you were praying hard that Michael didn't do anything stupid.
Of course, you trusted him but you were quite an insecure person. Besides, he was an ever so charming man - what wife of his wouldn't be insecure?
"I'm just so worried," you whisper again as you clutch your chest worriedly.
"Oh my God," Luisa closes her eyes and shakes her head in disbelief. "Are you seriously going to carry on like this throughout the evening?"
"Well at least until he gets back," you sigh and nod. "Then I'll be fine,"
Luisa scoffs as she continues to study your form in disbelief.
"Well..on the bright side," she shrugs. "Michael is lucky to have a wife who worries about his well being so much without acting like a complete psychopath,"
You look at Luisa with a slight frown before bursting into laughter.
"Thanks a lot girl,"

You walk through the doors of the all too familiar mansion and smile slightly as you see your housemaid, Carol, approach you in a bid to take your coat for you.
It's been four hours since you'd left Luisa's house and it's about one in the morning. Obviously, Michael isn't home yet so you've decided to wait until he gets home before you go to sleep.
"Thanks Carol," you smile. "Any news from Michael?" you inquire in the hopes that he might've telephoned the house to update the staff.
"Unfortunately not," Carol cringes slightly at her own negative answer. "But I'm sure it's just because he's busy,"
You giggle a little at her comment before nodding in acknowledgement and making your way upstairs to you and Michael's bedroom.
You collapse onto the huge bed and stare at the ceiling, in hopes that that will make a good past time until your beloved husband gets home.
