♥Protective(This Is It Era)♥

You sigh in defeat as you finally agree to let your two youngest children go to the movies on their own.

"Just...be safe okay?" you plead with your twins, Dawn and Edward.

Dawn and Edward were fifteen years old and they were just like their father - bursting with energy. They were twins and had turned out to be very intelligent kids.

Too intelligent.

They'd just happened to be the top scorers in their entire school level and the only reward they'd asked for was to be able to go to the movies on their own - without you and Michael.

You see, Michael was extremely protective of his children - not forgetting his wife and princess...you.

You were on a whole other level.

He'd always hated the idea of leaving you on your own for fear that you'd fall sick or become weak and he couldn't bear the thought of not being there if it did happen.

You were a sickly person.

His behavior was warranted.

And so, seeing that he treasured you so much - it's no secret that he would be just as careful with his children.

He'd never let Dawn and Eddie out on their own. In fact, he'd never let any of your three children out on their own.

It was always a must that he be present to 'keep an eye'.

Nevertheless, you and Michael had created three beautiful  children - your eldest being a gorgeous girl named Heaven.

"Yes mom!" Dawn squeals, "Don't you worry...I'll make sure Eddie doesn't go missing," she snorts.

"Dawn!" Edward says in annoyance, "Can you not?" he frowns.

"Not what? Be honest?" she shrugs.

"No, can you stop being stupid?" he squints.

"Can you stop being weird?" she rolls her eyes.

"I'm not weird," he raises an eyebrow.

"Then you're stupid," she sighs sarcastically, "Congratulations," she giggles.

Dawn had gotten her sarcastic nature from you.

"Okay you two, stop arguing before I change my mind," you smile fondly, "Now go! Have fun," you chuckle.

They did not need to be told twice as they both raced out of the house, hastily yelling 'I love you'. Michael was still asleep so you didn't really have anything to do.

"Mom?" Heaven's soft voice startles you suddenly and you turn around to meet her gaze.

"Yes darling?" you ask gently, eyeing her seemingly nervous form.

"I have something to ask you," she states hesitantly and you slowly nod in understanding - urging her to proceed.

"Come on let's sit down and talk about it," You suggest and the both of you make your way to the sofa in the living room and settle down quietly.

"Mom," Heaven begins, "I-" She sighs shakily, "I have a boyfriend," She spills and keeps her head down.

"You what?" you ask in shock. Heaven refuses to look at you as your expression changes. "Why didn't you tell me?!" you squeal, trying desperately not to wake Michael up.

Heaven's eyes meet your face with utter shock. She can't believe you're not mad.

"Mom...wait..what?" she stares at you.
