You scoff and roll your eyes as your best friend, Luisa, harps on about the all too annoying subject you've been listening to for the past half hour.
"But seriously," she folds her arms and leans back against the sofa. "Michael Jackson is cute," she winks and you shake your head.
"He's not," you grimace. "He's a jerk,"
You lean back against the sofa as well and sigh.
You lived with your best friend, Luisa, and she always managed to make the conversations between the two of you interesting. However, at present moment, her words were not sparking your personal interests at all.
Unfortunately, you didn't happen to be a fan of Michael Jackson - instead, you were closer to saying you despised him than you were to saying you admired him.
Normally, you believed that one shouldn't judge another human being based on rumors and that one should get to know another on a personal basis before drawing any conclusions. But Michael was different.
From all that you'd read in the tabloids and heard about on the news - you couldn't help but develop a sense of disliking for the man as you'd grown to believe that he simply wasn't good news.
Eventually, the idea that girls went completely crazy over him, disgusted you.
"Oh come on," Luisa giggles as she waves you off playfully. "I thought you didn't judge books by their covers,"
"I don't," you stare at her blankly.
"Then?" she raises an eyebrow.
"I just don't like him," you shrug.
"Really now?" Luisa teases. "What if you met him and he charmed you?"
"Never," you scoff. "Ever in my life,"
"Mhmm?" Luisa rolls her eyes. "Well-"
"Changing the topic.." you cut her off as she continues to giggle. "I'm looking forward to my date tonight," you smile shyly.
"Daniel, huh?" she wiggles her eyebrows and you grin.
Daniel had been a guy you'd been dating for about three months now and you'd grown to like him - a lot. He was a true gentleman; never touching you inappropriately and never speaking vulgarly with you.
It was safe to say you could've been falling in love.
"But...I don't know," she shakes her head, snapping you out of your thoughts. "He just seems like a dodgy guy..."
"What do you mean?" you frown.
"I mean, you did say that he's never taken you to his house..." she grimaces. "And that even after three months..you still don't have his telephone number. I mean, this guy could be a drug dealer,"
"Well maybe he just likes his privacy," you roll your eyes.
"He has your telephone number...actually more like...our telephone number," she shakes her head. "Why can't he give you his?"
"That's just a small thing Luisa," you fold your arms. "Besides, I don't believe in judging a book by it's cover, remember?"
"Whatever," she rolls her eyes. "Oh my God! What about his dressing?"
"What about it?" you raise an eyebrow.
"He doesn't wear short sleeves! And it's summer!" she exclaims and you huff.
"Seriously? I don't wear short sleeves!" you defend. "Anyways...he's a really nice guy..."
"Yeah right.." Luisa rolls her eyes. "Just don't get too carried away with him okay? I don't trust the guy,"
