"What are you thinking about?" Michael's soft voice rang through your ears as his fingers trailed abstract patterns on your bare back. You laid on his chest and the only thing that concealed both of your unclothed bodies was a pristine white blanket.

"Nothing," you mumbled, relishing the moment that the two of you had together. In no time, the children would be home - and the private moment would be over; not that Michael nor you, minded. "I'm just...happy, that we've come this far," you sighed, propping yourself up a little so that your chin rested on Michael's chest. His lowered his gaze to look into your eyes as you stared into his.

"I wouldn't have been able to have made it this far as a father if it weren't for you," he smiled, bringing his hand to caress your cheek. "Life is easy when I have you,"

"Life is never easy," you responded gently.

"Well you make everything seem easy," he continued to look deeply into your eyes. "I can't...function without you," he smirked a little. "And I said those very words on-"

"Our wedding day," you completed as the both of you burst into laughter.

Eventually, as the laughter died down, he moved closer to you and kissed you softly. Pulling away for a brief second, the two of you looked into each other's eyes before sharing yet another kiss. He began to deepen the kiss just before the front door could be heard opening and slamming shut from downstairs.

"Shit," you whispered as Michael laughed.

"Mom?!" Heaven's voice echoed. She sounded as if she'd been crying. You frowned at Michael as he mimicked your expression. Quickly getting off of the bed, you grabbed your modest black night dress and slipped it on - fluffing your hair out before running to the bedroom door, opening it. Michael took his cue from you and quickly slipped on his own clothes before Heaven appeared.

"Oh," she mumbled, sniffling. "I'm sorry...I didn't want to disturb," she shook her head.

"No!" you exclaimed, pulling her in. "Darling, why are you crying?" you breathed, leading her to sit on the small sofa at the end of the room. Michael cleared his throat and walked over to the two of you.

He stared at Heaven with stern eyes.

"Come on," you urge her gently, brushing her hair away from her face and wiping her tears with your thumbs. "What's wrong?"

She let out a sob before shaking her head.

"D-D-Daniel...h-h-he...doesn't want..me," she whimpered.

Michael raised his eyebrows and you gave him a warning look before returning your attention to your daughter.

"What exactly did he say?" you frowned. "What happened?"

"He..he..was with another girl," she cried. "I went to his house..and..and..I saw them.." she began to break down again.

"Aw...honey," you sympathized, pulling her in for a hug.

Just then, Dawn and Eddie appeared at the doorway - quickly rushing into the room when they saw their elder sister in tears.

"Woah..what happened?" Dawn frowned. "Heaven...you okay?"

"Of course she's not," Eddie looked at his twin sister. "Does she look okay?" he rolled his eyes.

Dawn opened her mouth to retort but Michael gave her a look and she instantly decided against it.

"What happened?" Eddie asked Heaven walking up to her and rubbing her back.

"Daniel," Michael spat. "Broke her heart,"
