Six Years Later:

"Mom!" your daughter Heaven, calls whilst running down the staircase as you look up from your cup of coffee at the kitchen table. "Mom, Ayida took Kelly and doesn't want to give her back," Heaven pouts, referring to her twin sister who's taken her doll.

A small smile forms on your face as you admire your gorgeous twin daughters - the only reason you wake up everyday with an optimistic mindset, and have done so for the past six years.

After finding out you were pregnant, you'd decided to put the situation with Michael behind you and start anew. Yes, in the beginning it was difficult but you persevered and now, here you were - a successful IT Professor with two gorgeous daughters. Of course, you hadn't spoken with Michael since you left and quite frankly - you preferred it that way.

The last you'd heard, Lisa and Michael had a baby girl - but that was none of your concern.

Now, Heaven and Ayida were identical twins. They looked exactly alike except for their hair color, which differed - and was the only way to tell them apart. Heaven had raven black hair with slighter paler skin and Ayida had mahogany hair with a more caramel tone to her skin.

Of course, they both looked like their father.

"Ayida," you say as you watch your mahogany haired daughter follow Heaven. "Why did you take Kelly from Heaven?" you giggle a little.

"Because....Heaven wouldn't give her to me," she shrugs, making you giggle more.

"Now," you stand up with a sigh. "How about we put Kelly away and I take the two of you toy shopping?" you suggest with a bright smile.

"Really mom?!" they both exclaim with wide eyes - the green color of their pupils looking even more beautiful.

"Yes," you chuckle at their excitement. "Go and get ready. I'll be upstairs to check on you in about an hour," you prompt them.

"Yay!" Ayida giggles as she makes a start for the staircase.

"Thanks for taking that doll Ayida!" Heaven giggles as she follows.

Oh they are my everything.

As you walk with your daughters through the large toy store, you find yourself admiring the aesthetic of the colors - it seems to be very soothing and attractive. Heaven and Ayida wear identical outfits - donning purple sweaters over checkered skirts, paired with black socks and sparkly flats. Their hair is braided and fastened with beautiful ribbons.

They looked beautiful.

"Mom, can Heaven and I go to the puzzle section?!" Ayida squeals as she holds onto her sister's arm. 

After a moment of contemplation, you nod.

"Yes, but only as long as you two keep an eye on each other," you warn before letting them run off.
