♥Day Off(Bad Era)♥

"Are you serious?!" you groan as you cover your face, clearly frustrated.

"I'm sorry! It'll only be an hour or two," Michael reasons calmly. "Then we'll have the rest of the day to ourselves," he smiles widely.

"No!" you kick up a fuss like a child. "We were supposed to have the whole day to ourselves!" you huff and he chuckles.

Today was Michael's first day off in...well...years. He'd promised well before that he'd spend today with you and make up for all those times he was away. However, like always, something had to come up and Michael had been invited to a radio talk show as a special guest speaker. Knowing Michael's nature completely, he'd said yes before thinking twice. 

"I don't believe this!" you shake your head in frustration and pace around the room.

"Listen," he says as he walks toward you and rests his hands gently on your shoulders. "I'll be back before you know it. Stop stressing," he smiles softly as he kisses your forehead. "You're too pretty for that," he chuckles.

"Can you not?" you roll your eyes and wave him off. "Whatever, I'll wait," you sigh in defeat. "Just make sure you come straight home from there," you fix your gaze upon him. "No messing around," you shake your head and he nods.

"When have I ever?" he shrugs as he runs out the door and you squint. He was always so playful.

You slumped onto the sofa and let out a breath. You were going to have to figure out a way to entertain yourself for two hours and you had no idea where to start.

"Stupid talk show," you mutter as you stare at the ceiling.

Your posture straightens up suddenly as you come to a simple realization. Why not just listen in to the station Michael will be on? That way you won't miss him as much.

"I was truly raised a smart girl," you groan sarcastically to yourself and walk towards the radio.

"Yeah, it's been great,"  

You smile to yourself as you hear Michael's soft voice ring through the radio speaker. He was currently talking about his experiences on tour.

"So, apart from the whole tour scene...what other interesting events have unfolded in your life recently?" the radio host asks.

You rest your chin on your hand as you listen intently. This interview was already an hour through so he had another hour to go and you - another hour to wait.

"Well..." Michael trails off. "Not really," 

You giggle softly at Michael's shyness and nod slightly because there really hasn't been anything eventful happening for the two of you recently.

"Oh," the host chuckles a little. "Well do tell us how (Y/N) is," he says politely and your eyes widen.

"Ah, she's doing well, thank you," Michael giggles a little. "She's been really supportive," 

You scream inwardly as you appreciate his thoughts on you.

"Really? Has she been on tour with you?" the host questions further.

"Not entirely," Michael clears his throat. "I'd rather she stay at home because the constant time zone changes can be tiring," he explains gently.

"Oh," the host responds in comprehension. "We recently heard that you and (Y/N) were expecting...is that true?" 

You shake your head in amusement as you listen in.
